Demo of MI Audio Tube Zone. Strat with Suhr Fletcher Landau pckups-Tube Zone-Divided by 13 FTR 37 L-Sennheiser e609 R-Neumann KM105 for the room and talking
@tleonard42 okay, great thanks :D I'm playing a baritone crafed by a local luthier made of mahogany and elm, with merlin pickups ('classic strat humbuckers' - pseudo-humbuckers made of real single coils, not humbuckers that split to pseudo-singles!), so the guitar itself is pretty bright imo. I guess I'd just leave the tone knob open, instead of turning it at 1/3 ;) looks like I should hunt for this pedal!
@Sylkis89 These are single coils, so if you're using humbuckers, you can run the brightness up quite a bit before it gets annoying....I have the mids scooped a bit too so running them back up might give you that sound you're after.
I especialy like the sound around 2:15... I love coarse-grained distortions and overdrives and have a quite hard time finding anything suitable for me, as nowadays the 'good' sound is widely associated with ultra-tight&super-smooth stuff. Is it as thick as it can get, or can it be set even more granular?
What speaker were you micing here, the blue or g12h? Also, were you running half power or full-power? I have an RSA31 but I'm thinking about getting an FTR37 as well, so I was just curious.
@tleonard42 btw, what voltage do you run it? it apparently can take from 9V up to 25V, where more voltage gives kind of a hot-rodded-like effect, have you played with it?
Thing has a nice tone to my ears.
Awesome tones man! This guy makes some amazing pedals for the money! Try em out, they are all excellent pedals!
very tight sound and good low end...
good combination..

I was using a 4x12 Marshall Greenback cab. I had the matching cab though and when I used it, I always ended up preferring the Heritage.

Can hardly hear any of the talking
