I don´t understand this type of prices in a bag that is too light, the leather is not the most adequate to the size of the bag and honestly, I don´t see super excellent craftsmanship. I like the elegant, chic, discreet, intemporal design and I love that offers a good option to casual chic users. But the bag is too expensive for what offers. I need better leather and I need to know that this bags will not wear and tear quickly! Hermés do the job very well and they have almost 200 years old. The Olsen Twins have the boho chic aesthetic and they wear used, scratched Hermes bags with many years. Why create a bag with a thin leather that is not suitable to this size design only to show very fast signs of use? Sorry, but I want to see after 5, 10 years what this bag look like.
Very well stated! I agree. I love the design, but don’t feel like for me the quality will withstand the amount it costs. Unfortunately, I had to return. You make a great point about Hermés. Thank you for your support 🙌🏼
Very well done. I understand that is not easy to return a bag that we like, but you did the most assertive thing!
I have tried three The Row bags, small banana bag, bowling bag, and large NS park tote. I got these for great prices but had to return the later two back despite everyone on the social media saying good about it and they are hard to get your hands on 😅 however, you wear the bag in your own settings and life. So if it doesn’t fit your style and life, no matter how other people say how good it looks on, you will not wear it… and I found no one really talks about how awkward it looks on you for the large park tote when you fit laptop inside it and the black lining colour actually comes off easily … and the bowling bag you don’t feel a luxurious quality even it’s lined with leather. But the small slouchy banana bag is my favourite bag in 2023 and it goes with everything for a small bag.

Currently obsessing about the Margaux 12 and I love me a crossbody bag anytime for the practicality aspect of it especially if it's an everyday bag. I LOVE the shape and slouchiness of the bag (and feet!). I too would prefer the pebbled leather and will definitely get a bag liner to keep the interior clean. The dark brown version is sold out everywhere :( Thanks so much for the thorough review, sad that you're returning it but I totally get it. FYI, TRR, Rebag and Vestiaire Collective carries The Row :)

Thanks for the review. I love this bag but decided not to get it as I didn't know it comes with a shoulder strap. Like you, I don't plan to use the shoulder strap on a daily basis but it would be much more useful in case I travel with it. Now I'm reconsidering it!

Very informative video. The bag is gorgeous however; not a fan of the canvass lining. Previous iterations had suede/ leather lining which made the bag very heavy. The price point verges on Hermes territory so that’s definitely something to consider, but you’ve helped me decide that I’ll need to get a friend who works retail to buy it for me using their discount

I have the half moon bag which is ok. I also have the small size everyday bag which I don't like too much at first. Now it's broken in I absolutely love it. Haven't stopped using it for months so no other bags get a look in. Great review by the way and based on your cons you were right to return. At that price any modicum of doubt should result in a return

i think the 12 is the best choice for the margaux. the 7.5 & 10 don't look very proportional and the 15 & 17 are so cumbersome to carry by hand. it has a briefcase-like quality to it that i think translates best in a medium size, anything else looks a bit costumey.
I agree completely! The 12 was the perfect size for me personally. Large enough to be practical, yet not overpowering. 🤍

Hi! I wanted to know how you went about returning your bag with 24s? I would like to return something but I see people having difficulty returning with them due to being overseas (I’m from the US)
Hi Karissa! It definitely wasn’t as easy as a normal return, but I followed all of the directions and didn’t end up having any issues. 24s sent me a detailed list of what I needed to do to have my item clear US customs. The biggest thing being creating and EIN, which they gave me steps on how to do so! I hope this helps. I would follow the instructions they send to you and ask them any questions you may have. My item cleared customs without any issues luckily!
I bought the Dk Taupe Margaux 10 in the pebbled leather and absolutely love it! It's so light weight and easy to use. It's a keeper for me. I don't resale my bags so that's not a concern of mine. The trade off of a fabric liner for the weight of a leather liner is worth it to me. I'm pretty neat and also use pouches, but if I did get a spot inside it I wouldn't worry about it. If I did bother me I'd just add an lightweight organizer or base shaper to cover it.

I have the row camden bag and I love it. I don't care about a few scratches as like a person's wrinkles it show character. I wanted a lovely leather bag without branding all over it unless a high end brand pays me to do their advertising!!

Agree it’s nice but for that price you have to be able to resale and that fact it can be compared to a bag from Marshall’s or TJ max just because it’s a name brand doesn’t make it okay for me.

What is the lining made of? Hope it's stiched instead of glued, as that comes off in a whif.
It’s a textile lining! I believe it was stiched, but I retuned the bag, so I can’t verify for sure. I hope this helps!
Great video. Is there any chance that the 12 will fit a 13 inch MacBook Air?
Hi! I would not recommend trying to fit a 13” MacBook Pro in the size 12. The bottom is 12” wide, so you might be able to get the pro in diagonally, but I think it could warp the bag. I’d highly recommend the next size up - the 15, which would be better suited for the 13” MacBook Pro! 🤍

It looks amazing but the price .. it has no leather inside is disappointing…
The price is listed at $4,890 - which is a HEFTY price tag! I was able to purchase it at 10% off, which helped. The leather is extremely soft and in my opinion not durable in the smooth version, so I returned. Thank you for your comment!

Thank you for watching! I have pretty small arms and I could BARELY get it on my shoulder. I would say no it’s not practical in this size to go on the shoulder. I hope this helps!

Can you fit a computer. I want to buy it and use as a work bag
It would need to be a smaller computer like a 13”. The width of this bag is 12” but you’d be able to get a 13” computer diagonally

I live on the states and unfortunately the aesthetic here is “wear brand new stuff”. If it shows signs of wear-toss and move on to new things. I loved living in Europe and seeing age old birkins carried by old ladies, scuffed Gucci bags… even furniture is rugged and old. I really like this approach but unfortunately it’s not doable in the states.
