Your filmmaking is now as good as the still photography. Knowing you had to place the video camera and then retrieve it to get these shots makes it all the more rewarding to see the footage. And the drone shots are nuts! It's a pleasure to go on these journeys with you.

Hell Thomas, you, Adam and Gavin are like mountain goats...some of the places you hike to, and video yourselves while your doing it, and then go back over to collect the 'B' Camera. True dedication to your craft...and your job. Take care and stay safe. Looking forward to the next great video.

That first image you debated with the snow…I like the inclusion of the snow because it tells the story of it being the cold of winter. Without it, it could have been any season.
Great video again!! Beautiful location…and those peaks - 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

I absolutely love the “layers” photograph. It would work perfectly framed on a wall with the minimalist image you took previously with your film pano camera of the beach and the distant island. Your use of negative space is so good and makes for truly captivating images that draws the eye in and simply won’t let it go. Fantastic

I LOVE sunrise and sunset photography, I do it often/it's my favorite thing to do and where I am best at :) The calmness, the scenery, the colours and so on. I LOVE IT.
I do most often use the whitebalance setting that goes to 7500. Then the sunset/sunrise colours get so much more visable. Maybe not the best way to do it but oh well...
Yet another spot to photograph this video gives me. Awesome yet again.

The scramble is Bristly ridge for anyone interested, its a great route! Your second pronunciation of Glyder Fach was right. Also if you ever want to climb Tryfan let me know, some great multi pitch routes up there. Have done most of the classics at least once and some twice. Great shots as always, think I preferred the b&w layers. Next time you are in Ogwen for a sunrise shoot, I recommend going up Y Garn, offers incredible views of the valley and there's lots of compositions there.

Man, the work that you go to to get the B roll and the continuity is incredible. You may have ascended 800 meters or so, but by the time you set the b roll up, go back, collect the camera, set it up in advance and walk back to walk into frame... Impressive patience. Lovely way to spend your morning too. Well worth getting up for. Nice vid TH!

In terms of the B&W versus the color version of you layered mountain shot... I much prefer the color version. I understand that a classic use of B&W is when a composition is largely featuring shapes and/or lighting contrasts...which your composition does. But the B&W version feels stark and somewhat lonely, while the color version feels more melancholy and awe-inspiring. Both are great images, but when presented together, the color version is what I prefer.
