I got myself a 2017 CRF250 Rally and I'm loving it! This was actually one of the best lists of modifications out there in UA-cam. Most people just go crazy with exhaust and engine tuning but yeah there are much better things to do specially ok these bike. Congrats for the video!
Great video, just bought a 250L myself. That was really helpful and am looking forward to your 5 don't do mods, hopefully before I do them haha. Did the slip on help the front pipe heat as well? tipped over in the river and burnt my leg on it already.
the slip on i got is about half the size alot smailer area to get burned on. but that stock one gets crazy hot i think its cause the CAT is in there as well
i guess it depends on how tall you are but its perfect for me and dont get in the way when offroading and i have crashed and droped the bike a few times and its held the abuse. its a V-FLOW VARIO-TOURING-SCREEN but it was a bit tricky to install

@@BigPezza thanks mate, appreciate the tips, and the sub!
Yay more CRF videos!
Grease the chain udjuster bolts + glue in / seal the rubber covers on the insides of the swingarm. That's where water and mud gets inside.
Thanks for the tip 👍👍 How would you recommand to untight the chain tensioners in the first place?
I'm with you on the performance mods not worth the money 💰 it is what it is a fun solid honda
My chain tensioner bolt snapped at the head was enough left for me to weld a socket on it 😂
I think Motoz rallz with thick tubs and slim inside works well ...personal choice
Nice one! Where is the top 5 not to do.. video ?
I'll look into the tublis idea. Carrying spare tubes around is a bit of a pain. And I'll look for the rear wheel tensioner screws.
or just take out the stock ones and copper greese them asap
@@BigPezza I'll do that. The rear wheel is off at the moment (new Anakee from Fin's). Thank you again.
Tad confused. In your “DON’T” top 5 you said don’t do the exhaust. Yet here you advocate it. Please clarify!
Greetings,
What brand of mirrors do you have on?
Thanks for assisting me.🇺🇸🎉🍾🇺🇸

Hi! Which GPR did you get and why? I got a Rally
not sure but i know it dont quite fit the rally unless you cut down the plastic
Tubebliss states that it is off-road only and not safe for the street 😱
What kind of wind shield you are using?
Also, does it work?
i guess it depends on how tall you are but its perfect for me and dont get in the way when offroading and i have crashed and droped the bike a few times and its held the abuse.
its a V-FLOW VARIO-TOURING-SCREEN but it was a bit tricky to install
Can i fit crf250l rims onto my crf250m without modifications?
you will need to change the front disk but other then that its all straight foward
@@BigPezza ok thank you for the quick response, what size disc do I need?
Where did you get the parts for the pc 50
wherever i could all ove the place ebay facebook etc etc
Big_Pezza ok thanks
Ditch the Rally's hoop skirt fairing. Its ugly and makes the bike look like a moped
He said short riders.
Any thoughts on windscreens?
if you want to do distance/trips then fitting a screen is nice, they really help in the cold or wet
