  • Self-balancing unicycle, 132Wh battery, 14" tire, made in china.
In this video I gonna show you how to ride electric unicycle.
First you should understand mechanics of this device, it's pretty simple.
Unicycle sensors can only balance you in one direction, forward/backward.
Unicycle can't help you not to fall to the side.
So our first lesson with support.
You can be supported by friend or you can use handrail, fence or wall.
I recommend you to ride on smooth surface without any roughness.
Stand up on the wheel with support keeping your feet on the heel and toe equally.
When you lean forward your toe press on the wheel and it goes forward, so you won't fall. Lean backward to slow down.
A good practice would be to go around a friend (or a tree) in both directions to learn how to turn around.
The second lesson is how to balance the sides.
Imagine you are sitting on the front wheel of the bicycle.
I mean when you tend to the right turn right, when you tend to the left turn left.
Okay, if you feel confident you can move to the final lesson to ride without support.
Every next try do the less pressure with your hands and ride on your own a little bit.
For some people it is the question to overcome fear, another just need a skill.
To learn riding unicycle I've spent 3 days 2 hours per day, but for somebody one hour could be enough.
Now lets jump on this wheel.
Don't push hard with one foot, try to reduce pressure while you jumping.
Hold the wheel with one foot, but keep your body weight on the ground.
Then jump from second foot making low tension up until you land on the wheel.
Remember the way to balance is wagging the sides like on the bicycle.
So the faster you ride the easier to balance.

+chrinamint Yeah, it is very individual. Most young people could learn to ride unicycle in two hours, but it took like 3 days to learn it for me. However it is much easier than learn to ride old-fashion mechanical unicycle, I've spent a few month of training, but still I don't feel confident.
