For the longest time, I was not a fan of the Behringer pedal effects, but recently - and I say this with all the love and respect - with these faithful recreations of classic pedals, you are really and truly killing it! Super inspiring! All thumbs up!
My first (and only, for now) pedal I’ve bought from Behringer is the BiPhase…and it’s killer! Absolutely bonkers, it swirl in a very delicious stereo way and it blows my mind out by the first minute I’ve played!😍😍😍😍
I wish they would’ve just made an Octa track. They just did effects. I mean, they could’ve made something that even went with the rest of their gear could even make like a Octa track mixer and it could’ve been cheaper. I mean, that’s what I want for less money.
@ that as well but what I’m saying is is electron is guilty for not doing this. I mean they’re all about making money yet. They are not really good business people.
@ the way, I feel about it, though is electron should be taken out because if they’re not gonna provide excellent ideas in an ecosystem to their products, then they failed their entire line. Because what they should’ve done is made like an auto track mixer and then like the Digital and all that stuff you could have those beside on either flank on either side and you bet either way you can set this up to functionally aesthetically look great and function properlyso they’re obviously not brilliant minds that someone else getting better?
An old classic has been resurrected! thanks Behringer for making this one. Plus i must add that the guy in the vídeo have charisma when presenting the products, well done as well! 👏
Look forward to trying this, I have the original and the EH Q-Tron range, the Q-Tron doesn't have the rough distortion (the Mutron is anything but clean/clean, it roughs up everything in a lovely way)of the Mutron
Does this mean that Behringer has found a cadmium-free optical cell that meets UK/EU requirements? r is this a pedal that can only be sold in certain parts of the world that have no cadmium ban?
@strangehermitage2299 dang it's 3:30 in the morning I have insomnia and I thought b o t was the stock name because "b" could have stood for beringer. You got me excited. Dang it.
If it's set up like the original, they should have added a master volume because changing the gain to get different envelope effects can mess up the bypass/effect level matching.
As someone who doesnt play out, I actually love that they keep the same appearance, but still with a slight miniaturization of the original boxes. It makes them FEEL like the heavy-hitter stars that they are, and nothing sucks more than cramped knobs & illegibly-small legends.
The pedal is famous for being used with synths, but you never show what pedals sound like with synths in promo videos. Please do a sounds demo with both guitar and synth, you will reach a larger audience. And I won't have to wait for the first review videos to come out, then to order one with "delivery in a few months" as stock has already run out. Thanks!
Pigtronix Resotron is my preference, and it's better than this, having an accurate pitch tracking filter function, and it's expression jack can connect to a CV sequencer. It uses a filter circuit that's based on the SS2040 chip from the Prophet 5. It also has an optical compressor in it, to help tame some of the possible extremes that often come along with envelope filters. It is 18v though, but a voltage doubler works totally fine with a standard 9v power supply..
Well they finally did one I care about. No longer must I look for another maxon af-9 which is like a 300$ 30 year old pedal. It's sick, but rare and expensive.
What about making the other pedals available first!? Fuzz Bender, Centaur, Vibe, Brassmaster, and new Octavia, Chorus ... I ordered the first four months ago and I CANNOT WAIT!
No issue in recreating these old pedals you’re doing at the moment, but does the original size of the units have to be recreated too? Mutron make these in standard sized enclosures, and there are normal-sized versions of your other recreations out there also. I’m simply not going to give up that much pedalboard real estate for an envelope filter lol
I'm pretty sure these are scaled down. Most of the recent releases have been nearly half the size of the originals. The original Mu-tron was massive. Like old school Electro-Harmonix pedals.
Behring, Make the Mutron FLANGER its the best optical flanger. The B-Tron Envelope filter when playing 2 of the same notes out of tune is I think the only Envelope filter that does that unusual Funk Psychedelic flutter? It must have something to do with the note tracking circuit inside the B-Tron Envelope filter it seems very poor design but caused a cool funk psychedelic fluttering effect
@@alanredversangel not sure, haven't listened to any Zappa for a while but I don't remember any autofilter. True fact: I was in a band called Moon Unit for a while, which I though was a cool name until I realised the bass player nicked it from the name of Zappa's daughter 😂
