the college i’m going to has one on their main campus, and most of my classes will be on the smallest campus but i have one class at the main campus so i’m excited to go there and order lunch or something so i can have it delivered by a robot because they’re sooooo cuteeeeee
it will be useful to go to the supermarket walking with the robot, do the shopping list put all the groceries inside the robot and go back home accompanied with the robot
Yea me too, and not cause it's cute - but because I got mobility issues and simply trying move myself, aka walk, is issue enough - never mind having to carry it. (Apparently in my native country it will say 'hands off' sternly, if someone tries to bother those - but no-one has stolen it.) And still I kinda think it would make them even funnier and nicer if they had like 'eyes' or 'head' even and it made some simple sounds more. Shrugs. That stated - tracks (like a tank has lol) would most beneficial to navigate a bit of snow.

I have 5 of those little Anki (now dreamlabs) robots because I love them and they're so cute..... now we have these cute little robots pottering around❤ I've got some sticky googly eyes here somewhere, and I'll have to refrain from sticking them on one of the robots 🙈 (Don't worry, I don't do it lol) I think they'll make a big difference for so many people who are unable to "pop to the shop" for a variety of reasons.... you don't realise to what extent (or maybe you do lol).... this is a massive weight off my shoulders personally, so thank you!
@@ppmaks668 I went through a really bad anxiety phase recently and was given diazepam, the drs are really funny about prescribing it😔 they only usually prescribe 21 tablets and i ended up taking it for a few months....It worked though! Even if it did take me a while to taper off🙈😬
These robots are cute and cool! One question: why not use treads instead of traditional wheels? Treads can help it navigate difficult terrain and make it harder for it to get stuck.

Visited a friend in Espoo, and was mesmerized when I saw one of these little fellas scootin' around. After I left, my friend ordered a delivery on one, and had is play "We Built This City" when it arrived, as a silly little joke XD BTW, what's the music used in this video?

it's time we had the same car cleaning products in the west you have in japan, my (now ex) wife brought back some water based wax and window wash (that totally repels water) twenty years ago, we still don;t have in the west, not to mention anti-bacterial coatings for toilets that mean you never have to clean a toilet and child buggies that fold / unfold with one button. i love japan.
a fiend of mine has a tesla, don't tell him but it comes over to my place in the evenings to play cards and have some oil. at the weekends it sneaks off to the beach to chill.
Clickbait title. Just footage of starship robots doing things. There's nothing where it is a day of a robot. Awful. I thought I might see timelapse or at least a particular robot actually doing what it does. In this video its disjointed clips you don't even see a journey from loading to delivery. In fact there is barely any footage of the robot arriving with its items just random footage of robots being loaded and going on journeys.
Forget about starship, if I was homeless like I was 5 years ago and a wee robot passed me, I would be picking it up opening it up and having a lovely dinner that night. It will never work , who u kidding
