- 1 cup 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 8-13 bay leaves
- 21-23 pieces green cardamom
- 2 tsp black cumin seeds
- 1.5kg mutton
- 3 pieces star anise
- 1 piece mace
- 3 sticks cinnamon
- 3 pieces black cardamom
- 1 piece nutmeg
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp 4 tsp salt
- 3 tsp dried prunes
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp green chilli paste
- 2 cups tomato purée
- 10 small whole potatoes
- 1/4 tsp biryani essence
- 4 cups cela rice
- 1/2 tsp kewra essence
- 5 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 handfuls chopped mint
- 3 green chilis
- 1 1/2 handfuls chopped coriander/cilantro
- 1 cup fried onions
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp orange food powder
- 1/4 tsp red food powder
