I can't say I'm a huge fan of what they do now compared to then. But we have to realize these guys played this stuff thousands upon thousands of times, so like most bands, usually they end up having to change their direction a bit to keep themselves interested and pumped up to play.

It's a similar analogy to the one I follow: Grey is Okay.. achromatic, colorless; the idea that when you are nothing , only then are you free to be anything.. yin and yang, good or bad, saint or sinner black and white.. human. At this level it's not a choice by the way.. no matter how much black you put into the world- you create an equal amount of white and vice-versa.. and rather than us realizing we all are grey and accept that, we struggle and individualize and that's where the real horrible shit happens.
