In many cafes near my house they have seats made out of old junk tyres - painted over and decorated - not only does it look beautiful but also helps in recycling used tyres !!
Do not be fooled. The Kuwaitis are FAR from a "developing healthy country." Their recycling plants are in serious violations of so many health and safety factors.
It's pretty good but there is an unintended consequence as the road undergoes frequent friction and use and hence this causes the rubber to be turned into extremely microscopic particles which can be extremely dangerous as it can get mixed in water or be inhaled by humans
There is no shortage of land in kuwait as compared to population to land ratio. Its a massive desert with fully developed coast line. Kuwait being an oil rich country is heavily automobiled. Extreme weather wears out tyres faster than usual.
I worked in Kuwait for 24 years as a teacher but the ministry of education deducted almost half my pension 4256 KD ( 14000 $) during resignation under the name of indebtness which I knew nothing about . And when I made a complaint they refused it verbally on the telephone .

As an American, when I saw the title I spent a few seconds trying to figure out if this was the largest graveyard in Tyre, or if it was the world's largest graveyard of ancient, Phoenician city-states.
Remove tyres from cars in the city and transport tyres miles away to be dumped in the desert. Then remove tyres from the desert and transport them back to the city to be recycled. Genius.
There is a video on UA-cam that I saw recently in which they freeze the tyre using liquid and then shred it so that the tyres can be used again as rubber sheets... This can then be made into artificial grass and distributed to all the countries in the world where grounds can be redevelopment. This is not waste but raw material
They can be melted down and the liquid can be refined into fuels and other useful products much the same way we refine crude oil. The steel is easily recycled also. It's all down to a willingness...

They will not decompose LOL😂
But there is a limit to using tyres as chairs brother. That cafe must have 10 chairs max. Where that is nothing compared to the mountain of tyres.
That’s not even recycling. And pretty Soon, they’ll be replaced in the name of makeover. Now they’ll be dumped with the addition of paint toxins.
As it is!!!!

When a country takes recycle seriously, you know it's a developing healthy country✨
Japan
It's already developed.
Do not be fooled. The Kuwaitis are FAR from a "developing healthy country." Their recycling plants are in serious violations of so many health and safety factors.
INDIA Already had a solution to it. Rubber recycling through Pyrolysis process. But it can be improvised to a great extent as well.
Majority of the waste tyre is used for making rubber mats.. My father was working in this plant.
Read about Scandinavian Enviro System, they have the solution
I saw a documentry using shredded tyres mixed with asphalt to construct new highways! It improve grip and resist impacts.

@@ZOCCOK which is already happening by car tyres. So it maybe worse than now, but it’s not a new problem.

I highly appreciate KUWAIT.Even though they have shortage of land, they spared land for used tyres.
and they burned some of them to cause pollution.

I have seen recycled tires used for; roads, building material, children's playground, mulch, and shoes.
Good voice and great explanation as well
Recycling is the ultimate solution for nonbiodegradable particles.

Use it in the road construction 🏗️
Micro plastic
Read about Scandinavian Enviro System, they have the solution
Nice information me and my friends watching your videos from Kuwait🇰🇼😅😅😅
wastage can be used for road and paintings
Where is from Kuwait ?
Tyre?
Why they just dont dig a deep hole and toss it all in there instead? Bury it underground, where theres countless space

Our tires are recycled or used as an alternative fuel in the cement industry, it has value.
Remould tyres used to be popular in the UK but now they are considered dangerous.....maybe because of a threat to tyre company profits perhaps.

Why not make tyre mountains for skiing on

I agree that it's a good short term solution, but eventually every road would be made of as much rubber as is feasible. Then what?

You can make diesel with plastic i guess theres maybe a way to Do it with tires on a large scale
Rubber isn't the same as plastic
Why not find a way to make the old tires into roads? We use them on the road why not make them part of it , might even last longer.
You cant bury them they will always move back up to the surface
