saw him in the festival. he was excellent , did readings directly from his journal and did a book signing, really friendly guy to talk to and always the joker. instead of just signing my book he drew a characature of me vomiting saying "this'll be you at the end of the night". definitely a highlight of the festival.
Every time David comes to town, we go to his lovely show. He is so delightful in every way. We would like to invite him to dinner. I hope that isn't creepy.

I saw him when he did a reading in Chicago about 5 years ago. He was so humble, he said if we wanted to purchase a book, buy a copy of some new author's book - forgotten his name, rather than his book. Marvelous. He is much kinder, sweet and absolutely adorable in person.

David Sedaris is a genius - he doesn't know it, he certainly doesn't contemplate the possibility but he's most certainly a genius!
He really is amused by her - rarely does he belly laugh like that in interviews.

I was so lucky to get to see David Sedaris this past April when he was touring. He's so funny!
