Hello Joel and thanks for all your good and informative videos. I am about ton buy a BCS 779, but to be honnest, I feel that it is best to buy it from the dealer that is at only 30 minutes away from my homestead. You'll understand that it is a question of service after sale. Sorry ! Though if write this comment, it is to ask about all attachments that my BCS dealer will not sell and that seems to be better than BCS equipment. Did I understand welle that you could sell and ship in Canada Caravaggi equipment and some exclusive equipment design and engenered from earth Tools ? Tlhat I would interest me. Richard
I am not a safety Sally. I was a foreman for a big tree surgeon Company for several years. Do not wear gloves when feeding brush Into a chipper. Gloves have snagged on brush and pulled people into the chipper. I know feeding brush can be hard on the hands but just deal with it. Feed brush from the side. Never from the front of the chute. Thanks for the video.
@@PermieCulture I guess having Vermeer chippers for 20 plus years has taught me the difference between a working mans tool to that of a " well it does the job" tool. I know some people would be happy with this chipper and it's fine for the weekend warrior but it to me is like driving a 60s Volkswagen ( it gets you there) or driving a Mercedes. Just a matter of preference and the size of your wallet and being able to justify the expenditure. It might be better to rent a machine now and again verses owning one that you might only use a few times a year. Just my opinion.
Quite interesting product. It surely seems to handle the "job" quite well, with the high discharge make it a lot easier. I could see myself as a potential client for such a product. :-) Cheers

That was impressive. I really need to decide on a chipper/shredder for our BCS one of these days.

Looks like it's a workout to feed it. I guess it's not self feed. Not a tool I think I would want to buy,....especially at that price.
Do you want the branches to hop in there themselves or?

my old lescha shredder worked better than that
Wonder if the chopped green stalks are fine enough that you could do small scale silage?
Looks like it should work.
No offense but my rider tractor does a better job by merely driving over them like I'm cutting grass.
will it handle large dry leaves easily without clogging? I have a leaf problem and own a BCS 853 diesel.
