Sowing Oats With Draft Horses 2024

Today my Gentle Giants are busy planting next year's feed. I had a small piece worked up and ready to plant today and the weather was lovely. I'm growing AAC Reid oats from SECAN this year, will see how they do. We have a lot of rust issues and some varieties do better than others. Oliver drill was a lawn ornament rebuild project over the winter as I had sold my previous McCormick drill. It worked perfectly, is well balanced, and draws light.
