If an iPhone 4/4s has a sim card slot if it has 2 antennas on one side and 2 on the other side its a 4s if it has only a bottom antenna on both sides its a 4 also on setup ios 7-9 (it could be on the newer OSes) holding down the power button shows the wallpaper of the os.
The reason iCloud lock exists on iPod touches is because it’s a iPhone without the phone app or cellular data so in essence it’s a text messaging device wi iCloud iMessage and AppStore apps to turn voip apps into a phone on iPod touches so pretty much it’s more than an mp3 player and that’s the reasons behind it to protect personal data. Now if iCloud activation lock was on iPod classics then I see your point.
Kinda interested in one of the 5s’s on iOS 10. iOS 10 was my all time favorite iOS so I’m never gonna update it and I wound up losing my 5s entirely shortly after I stupidly had to update it to 12 just to run Snapchat. Or even the iOS 9 one bc I really loved 9 too and your prices are beyond fair for devices on old iOS like that. Most people charge out the ass for that shit

the fact both ipod touches were activation locked sucks because there is no need for an MP3 player to be locked like that.
