I got an "f'" on a quiz with scale factors so I decided to watch this to see what I did wrong. I missed the day we went over it in class so I thought it made sense I got them wrong. Turns out I was right. :l
It amazes me how inconsistent you are. If you are looking at multiplication as "groups of", which actually you are teaching then writing the scaling factor as x3 is simply wrong! when you scale you 2x3 are you saying 2 groups of 3? or 3 groups of 2? Therefore correct formula should be 3x not x3....
@@kraccChips420 put a side length of the original on the bottom of a fraction, and on the top the same side length of the new fraction. the first example would be 6/2 going off the left side, so 3
