I went to an asian restaurant and ordered their fermented tofu. They looked at me And ask me if I was sure. I said yes of course, and then they asked me again.. To which I said yes, I want the fermented tofu. A few minutes later, a second person came up to me and asked me if I knew what I ordered and I said. Yes, the fermented tofu I want it..... ... This video reminded me of that horrible tofu dish I had.. .. it was so bland and the only flavor it had was what i could only discribe as eddible bad body odor .. soy sauce didnt make it better. 😅 My pride would not let me leave it behind. I took it to go and then threw it away. In a trash can two blocks away
@Stig007 I make fernented tofu using rejuvelac and keep on fridge after ready. It tastes delicious, sweet and no longer few days it is all consumed, because it is taste and gealrhy. In my opinion, it depends on how fermented tofu is made of, and wich ingredients are used to. I really never buy tofu after learning to make my own's.
Very less population of Asians eat Tofu.. India especially loves to eat fresh food only. Remember your western Herbas smell very bad though you people eat them well. Every land has its own tasty and cooking way.
I think day 8 looks great, I bet having that deep fried and get some Sichuan style hot sauce would be amazing. But of course there are those tofu connoisseurs out there who'd prefer day 14 and be eating that raw. You'd need some expensive wine to go with that though!
