I was looking for a Visio Battle shark while I was in Shenzen China this week and I saw this cool neath looking drone. I had my second thoughts on it because I never encountered it in UA-cam reviews before. The shop owner did not had the battle shark but recommended me this 8807. He had two versions of it . One as you show which has a wide angle cam and better quality image on box is marked 8807 W they seem to have and 8807 an 8807C and the 8807W . The controller is also different he say is newest version and has functions of joystick now as buttons also and they work. I was not sure about it at first and I asked him I want test before buy. He quickly got a set of fresh AAs and he had the app on his phone and handed me over the drone to test. Immediately I recon this nice foldable drone has excelet altitude hold , very powerful and decent cam and streaming, very profitable , decent and stealth looks , no problem to find batteries for this drone and above all budget friendly and usable features. I liked it at once landed it and negotiated the price which was 500 China money. I get him down to 400 and asked for an other battery he said 450 and I give u one more battery and that was a deal. So aprox US 65. He say has a cheaper one if I see it much expensive and that was the version with a lower spec cam. I also noticed that it is very easy to upgrade the cam to real fvp and remove the WiFi cam transmitter . If u open the cover for the cam at bottom u can see it’s separate board and all is plugged in flight controller. So that might be option because it’s range on 2.4 GHz is quite far but fvp WiFi is limited to only 60 m at best . Anyway it is a must have fun and good flyer. The only crap part of this drone are the prop guards they don’t fit very well but I don’t use anyway so it did not border me. Make sure u calibrate gyro before running the drone if u intend use return home. Definitely was a satisfactory purchase.

For $30-$45 I bought one. It was my first drone and I'm glad I didn't spend hundreds for my 1st drone. I have crashed this little 8807 sooooo many times. It's a tough piece of plastic. I got it stuck in a tall tree and it stayed there, in the rain & weather, for over two weeks. It still works great. I bought another one while the 1st was still in the tree. I know some who just bought a Mavic and crashed the first week and had to send it back for repair. I have had the 8807 drop out of the sky and crash into trees and the side of my house, it just keeps going. For beginners, and for $40, it can't be beaten. I enjoyed your review. I have bought a FEILUN with GPS, so I hope to see you do a review of it. It's another drone under $100 that I hope turns out to perform great.
hey now i have a fly time now of aprox 50min. I am using an a 2500mah 3.7V 18650 battery. it fits perefet in the battery bay . i soldered to the battery terminals to wires directly to jst male connector. Then i used shrink to keep all wires in place . The 18650 is slightly heavier then the stock battery so you need trim slight forward so that it takes off level. Im also using a MI wifi+ range extender. I dont want want fly further but keep my aim is to keep fvp latency low as possible. I tested it indoor and its doing great within the house. Without Mi wifi + the image starts to cut after 15-20m due to 9inch stone walls of this house. With Mi wifi + it kept on streaming decently. next test out side

Great review. You mentioned a certain kind of batteries that you can get to have extras, do you have a link? Also can you purchase extra propellers? I just bought my 2nd one, I love this drone as long is you don't hit the return button after you get close to the ground, it tries to return to a high point and ends up on the tweaker neighbors roof. But if you measure it you should be able to find other lipos that will fit it once u know the measurements of the battery. No clue. Your comparing a drone where just the flight controller costs more than this useless brushed toy. once you replaced 5 motors within 10-12 flights, most likely lost it with stronger wind, you will see any decent non-toy quad goes for +100$, and there are reasons for that. this is like a eastern european golf with the outer shell of a lambo. as soon as you do more than look at it, you know it cant deliver. if you want something "cheap", get the RC Logger EOE.
Frank Honest It's all about personal choice and value for money. These 'toy grade' quadcopters give a lot for very little money, they are quite tough and robust, my visuo xs809hw has over 30 flights on it, had a few crashes, not a mark or scratch on it and it's still on the original motors which can be replaced any for around £2.80 !! so no big deal if they break. Like you said the flight control board for a mavic costs way more than this drone, you pays your money you takes your choice. I couldn't afford to risk losing or damaging a mavic but if I lost my visuo I wouldn't lose any sleep, just order another :)
There is a switch problem. Mine was bad. It would not stay on. I replaced the button with a toggle switch. Now I have a secure on or off . Was quite easy to do.

I just got this drone, when I ascend it starts drifting forward pretty quickly without touching anything which makes it almost impossible to fly since I'm a beginner. Do you have any tips?
reset gyros before taking off. and make sure after its powered on its on level surface . usually putting both sticks to the inside corners lower corners or outside lower or o both in the inside lower position for a few seconds and lights flash.

Got it! Downloaded the app! Connect with WIFI no problem! But I can't get the app to work with the drone. Can't get a "FPV" view; can't get it to save video, or images. Any suggestions?
ACAPPAS911 FromNASA one key return just returns to the general launch point. Or at least it's suppose to. The only ones that will go back to launch point and land it self is drones with GPS feature. Which this one does not have.
Jonathan Martinez there are many cheap good drones in this price. Do meet in mind these are all toys and none will last forever. This one is great if u want it to look like a mavic and it flies well with a great flight time.
I expect a reply from you. I have this drone and from my second flight, with in three minutes i am loosing control with remote and drone, i am pretty sure that it is not out of range, but still i loose the connection between drone and remote. Please help me anyone
Patrick Zayco I would recommend getting a better quadcopter that has a better image quality. It would be hard to use this toy drone for that. I would advise you consider something like the dji spark or yuneeq Breeze 4k would be great for that.
Get a visuo siluroid (40$) Then buy a usb wifi repeater with a power bank to run it ( xiaomi makes one for about 10$) then drill a hole in the top of the drone and attach a bendable 2.4ghz antenna (costs about 3$) thatll net you about 1000m of range. So all in all its less than $60 total for a surprisingly long range fpv drone. You can even do a battery mod for the visuo drone with a 3d printer. I have a buddy making the mod for me on his 3d printer rightnow actually. The battert mod is dirt cheap if you have access to a 3d printer. Itll allow for about 30 minutes of flight!
Mc Yaralı Civciv That model has poor thrust. Visuo siluroid has alot more lifting power AND battery life at the same price. Its also easy to mod to get 1km range in fpv for about 10-20$.
Alex Crowder in my opinion I watch this video and i buy eachine and ım happy beacause eachine is enough for me i buy 4 battery than eachine is very easy to fly and more smaller than visuo I dont buy this drone for carrying anything (im turkish and my english is not so good sorry for my wrong sentences)eachine; small ,fast,easy to fly,very good looking and cheap ;)
It's different. E58 is smaller and no space for easy modifications for simple things like battery and fpv. I have both E58 and 8807 and love both of them. Yes E58 is more pocketable and the camera is slightly better. 8807 is a very good brushed drone to fly outdoors even with moderate wind, E58 cannot do that. I also have Eachine E53, even more compact and fun to fly in the house.

In my opinion, and I've never owned a $1000 or $1500 drone, this less than $50 drone has more bang for the buck than the more expensive ones.

Gary I prefer this one 8807 but I have no experience with the XiangYu . And yes our neighbors black lab mix she's a trip . Ours is yellow 😆

The batteries are inexpensive, so purchase a couple of extra when buying the drone. You'll be glad you did.

That drone is not best the best drone dji drones and the dji drones are super expensive.
