Written in Latin by John Francis Wade in 1751
and in English by p. Frederick Oakeley in 1841
Instead of gestant puellae viscera Deus verus(they carry the entrails(أحشاء) of the girl, God of truth), Virgo concepit Deus verus(A virgin conceived(حبلت)the true God)
Instead of "Dominum"(Master)alone, I have put the word "Christus"(The Christ) before Dominum, if there is the word "Dominus"(ruler), I can put before it "Jesu"(Jesus).
The original Latin Chant but not all of it:
1.The Faithful are here, joyfully triumphant, Come, come to Bethlehem. Behold the birth of the King of Angels: come let us worship Come let us worship Come let us worship the Lord
2.God from God, light from light
a Virgin conceived the true God, begotten not made(مولود غير مخلوق):
come let us worship
Come let us worship
Come let us worship the Lord
3.The choir of Angels now sings
the heavenly hall(قاعة سماوية) now sings:
Glory to God in the highest:
come let us worship
Come let us worship
Come let us worship the Lord
4.Therefore(thus)(هكذا) he who was born on this day
Jesus, to you be the glory
The Word of the Eternal Father made flesh:
come let us worship
Come let us worship
Come let us worship the Lord
All ye (all of you): كلكم
