Insane!
Great video!! Congratulations on the fish, and I'll be watching for your upcoming videos. And yes, musky blackout is real!
Thanks for watching!! It sure is!!
Dude such an incredible video and probably my favorite figure 8 eat. Great work on the video. I notice your attention to detail in the editing process and it makes your videos very smooth and professional.....and Ashley's lost fish makes me want to cry every time I watch it.
Thanks Sam, I appreciate that a lot!!
Congratulations Ben. You deserve the best!!!
Thank you, I appreciate that so much!
Great stuff Ben! Keep up the great work!
Thanks!
53x25 on opener is nuts! Congrats on the fish! Pike and musky head size is the coolest thing as they get longer. Just subbed to your channel - look forward to new content coming!
Thanks! I appreciate it so much!!
You rock Ben! Beautiful figure 8 textbook there...
Thanks!!
@@benstonefishing I live up in Canada lots of great place's to fish up here. One day I want to fish Mille Lacs and catch me a beauty... Keep up the good work Ben
@@teammusky7469 I hope you make it happen! Appreciate the kind words!
The best luck my dad ever had with Muskie was using live bait. He would just use a giant shad or small crappie or bluegill hook it through the back right below the fin. Then he would use a big leader and a baseball size bobber. And go in the coves and fish along the bank.
Another amazing video, those are some big fish!
Appreciate it!
Great job Ben! There is a 60+ in there just waiting…..
Heck yeah there is!!
Love it dude, sweet hat as well! Pretty cool to run into you guys out there!
Likewise! Thanks man!
That 53 was epic Ben! Also, the 48.5" was a fat beast of a fish as well! Scary to think about how big Ashley's fish truly was. Nice work man!!
Thank you!!
If your planning on a Mn trophy musky hunt go to Mille lacs this summer …… the fish are back trophy & numbers …… best Mn lake by far ……
Well done on the B roll and different POV shots.
Thank you!!
Im from the uk so pike are the next best thing to muskie
My god man that's the fish every musky fisherman is looking for
Absolutely, I feel very lucky I was able to experience that weekend!
Increible video Ben, and congratulations to that 48.5”! Just one question, are you guys using the throne bros stealth or predator rods?
Both! This one was on a predator rod though. I used both, there’s not much of a difference between the two that I noticed.
I'll be up there next month. Hoping for one shot!!
Good luck!!
Your season is off to a great start. Your figure 8 footage was exceptional. Congrats on your 2 big fish.
I'm 99% sure where you were fishing, a south side bay. I'm sorry that the lady lost her fish.
Back in 1995 my, now, late wife got a muskie, roughly the size of your 48 inch fish in this video. I unhooked it but it swam out of the cradle net before we could get pictures or a measurement of it. OOPS!!😮 My wife was heartbroken as she watched it swim off. This was the same bay you fished here.
So cool to hear of fish caught in the same area in the past! We were in Isle bay!!
@@benstonefishing ah, crap. I was wrong. Lol I thought you were in Cove Bay. I thought Isle at first but changed my mind.
We used to drift Isle Bay in the fall with sucker rigs, back then, only got pike, though, no muskies
@@thelonesomefisherman7425we did fish cove the first couple days, that’s where I got my big one!
@benstonefishing Ah!! And here the last few years, all one hears is that there are no muskies left in Mille Lacs. You're proving them wrong.
You fished with that reel for days and never looked for drag? Or how about push the button. Very lucky
Lol that dude wheres your drag at dont u have drag on that thing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Makes us laugh everytime😂 Musky panic is real
@@benstonefishing yes I can imagine I get a thrill when the pike take from top water but muskie look like pike but alot more agressive
Bruh...you have a baitcaster for a reason. You nearly lost that fish. Open your bail, thumb the spool. Great fish!
You must have watched with the sound off, I was trying to free spool the entire time and the button was locked😂
