Thank you so much Cheryl. You are the FIRST channel I know of that has actually gone out and done some homework to help others. Most channels I see have good content but its more or less their experience or some recommendations. In this one, you actually did some calling around to provide even more help. You guys are the best. I'll be ordering some of your media when my Yellowstone trip gets closer. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much. We’re a family of 8 that just used your videos to spend six weeks camping from Badlands to Yellowstone to the Rockies this summer. It was amazing. Now we are starting to plan our summer 2025 loop in Utah and Arizona. I know nothing of the area being from the East Coast, so we are turning to you again for information. Love your channel.
Well done, thanks. We are heading to Zion early May, Watchman already full. Looking at private Park in Springdale, they open reservations Jan 2nd so will be setting alarm on Mountain time. We be reviewing your tips on visiting Zion. Appreciate your efforts
Thank you for putting this video together. One thing i would add there is Zion Ponderosa, they have camping site with shower (very important 😉) and glamping and other different stay. Me and my wife did the glamping there on our anniversary last 2019 and camp there on 2021…it was an amazing experience.

It really all depends on when the caterpillars hatch so it varies from year to year but Watchman and South campground are right next to each other so I would imagine they would both have caterpillars. I wish you the best of luck. Don't let the caterpillars scare you : ). I just thought it was was kind of crazy
This is a big shot. But and it’s a big but. Do you have room in your property for rent for a pop up trailer?? Fam of 7 easy going trust me I am a FF/EMT love quite and no drama. 😊 don’t hurt to ask.
We had an incredible time this May...thankful for your videos. Can you tell me when the shuttle stops running in the park. One place said Oct 31 and on place said mid November. And...do you have a video on getting around Zion when the shuttle does not run. It seems like that would be easier? Your thoughts? Thank you and this was a very helpful video too. We loved Kolob res. but we found out they because they are off grid the town store and running water is not turned on until May 31. The drive and beauty was so different than the park. So beautiful.
Ya it’s not always a specific date for some reason. Keep checking www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/zion-canyon-shuttle-system.htm or follow them on Instagram for updates. I haven’t been there during non shuttle times. But, here’s my understanding: Yes, it can be easier, but parking is still limited in the canyon so it’s possible you might not be able to find a place to park at the stop you want. Also, it does snow sometimes and it can get cold. I need to visit during a non shuttle time one of these days. :)

Thank you so much for the compliment! (Sorry for the late reply, we were visiting the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon this last week!)

You’re welcome! Have a wonderful trip
Me and my wife camped in Zion Canyon campgrpund. We had a wonderful view but there were way to many people.
Hey, Why were the comments turned off on Yellowstone?

Thanks for sharing this with us and thanks for watching.
Hi Cheryl, do you know if the camping lots are big enough for a 40’ motorhome?
I'm not sure if they are. Sorry.
So I live in colorado in planning on leaving this Saturday morning can I just camp out there without reservation?

any trails for ATV around these?
There are ATV trails all over in Southern Utah but nothing inside Zion National Park.
We are planning to stay at Watchman in May on Memorial Day weekend. You mentioned Caterpillars being everywhere. Is it in this campsite?
It really all depends on when the caterpillars hatch so it varies from year to year but Watchman and South campground are right next to each other so I would imagine they would both have caterpillars. What do you think about camping at Gooseberry Mesa?
Would be great! But need a high clearance vehicle to get there
@@WereintheRockies thanks for your response!
Shouldn’t the sites with flushable toilets and faucets be included in the “glamping” section?
I guess it depends on what your definition of "glamping" is ; )

Haha, no we don't. Also, we're 4.5 hours from Zion so you probably wouldn't want to stay near us anyway. Haha.
