- JAY Slater's best pals have reportedly flown home to the UK as the missing Brit's family continue their desperate search.
Brad Hargreaves and Lucy Mae Law arrived in Tenerife with Jay back in June as the trio partied at the NRG music festival before the teen mysteriously vanished without a trace.
Brad jetted away from the Spanish island three weeks after he last heard from Jay in a chilling phone call.
He revealed he heard the 19-year-old slipping on rocks in a video call just hours before he was reported as missing to cops.

A private investigator HAS spoken to him, only 3-4 days ago. You can find exactly what he said online. "He got to mine alive, he left alive". They drove listening to music, chatting, and stopped in a shop before entering the mountains. Ayub (one of the two men) has said he gave Jay the sofa, a blanket and a towel for a shower. Jay asked for a cigarette and a charger. Ayub told him he could go into his friends room, who I think was asleep, and take his charger. They were then buzzed at the front door an hour or two later, Jay was asking what the buzzing was, and it turned out to be a man and woman who were asking Ayub to move his car. Jay spoke to the woman in the meantime, apparently asking about the bus. Ayub told him something like "chill out, I'll give you a lift back when I've woken up properly." Jay declined, saying he was hungry and needed to go back now.
Ayub is not telling the truth, Lucy is not telling the truth. I've said from the beginning, the incredibly bizarre choices Jay made back to back, were not of a boy disoriented from drugs/alcohol/hangover - as people keep dismissing. They were of a boy scared or trying to evade someone. Police and investigators are slowly drip-feeding this narrative to us now.
I'm not saying they were necessarily the ones who took Jay, but they certainly AT LEAST know what he was scared of - and for some reason don't want to tell us.

UK police have nothing to do with this. Alleged "offence" happened in Spain. Not our police problem. They offered, Spanish Police declined. That's it. No case here in UK to investigate. Case closed.

So Jay spoke to two people on the phone after leaving the apartment, but never told them what occurred there, or the reason he was left to make his own way home, and he wasn't asked.

The questions around why he left so suddenly and didn't wait for a bus... it needs to be understood that when you're off your trolley on whatever substance you will feel restless and make irrational decisions. He probably couldn't keep still.. Waiting around for a bus would seem tedious so in the moment he probably thought walking it would be fine without realising how far it actually was back to his resort. Ex raver so I have some experience..

Back in 98 I spent one of the craziest holidays of my life on Tenerife. I went out to visit a mate who was basically avoiding the British justice system. He'd been there for about a year or so and had become friendly with John Palmer (Of Brinks Matt robbery fame) who was also living on the island. What I learned about Tenerife during my ten day stay was that it was run on fear and intimidation. The tourists don't see it, but it's there just below the surface. Plenty of people have disappeared there over the decades and there is plenty of room in the rough scrub land that makes up a large part of the island for more. I know one guy who was given 12 hours to leave the island because he refused to kill a rival drug dealer for his boss. If you own a business you have to have security (Whether you need it or not) or you find out the hard way that you needed it after all. I had a brilliant time, it was absolutely mental, but I never went back so maybe things are differnt there now. Or maybe not.

He was involved with a group of young men who attacked their victim with weapons. 3 years later, he goes missing on holiday, while claiming he had stolen a rolex, whilst in the company of two strangers, one being a convicted drug dealer.
It is possible that all of these events are linked e.g. the person he had previously attacked is linked to a criminal gang involved in the disappearance. OR the underlying theme is that Jay was a part of a gang and his disappearance is linked to this.
The Spanish police seem quite incompetent compared to UK standards. Maybe thats why criminals tend to go there to hide.

All yachts/ boats have names, you could find out what boats and yachts they use and have access to pretty quick if you live there.
The boats will have a mooring/home they pay and live monthly, so the date he went missing check the CCTV of the marina and see if some Somalian’s are seen carrying a carpet on board at about 8/9am.
