Thanks! Which 3 model of headphones are the best under 1000 usd to you?
Your mic that your doing reviews with sounds great.
Are these flat headphone? I mean for music producing? Or for just enjoying music?
I love my Elegia phones. I own both Grado and B&W Hi fidelity phones and these Focals kick all their butts
yeah man, I was a Grado for lifer until I got my Focals.. just a different level, one I never thought I'd have to be honest.
I really want to try these out someday, I have to hear the difference between these and regular $300 headphones
I have Clears - and they're the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn - built strong, and you'd think they would weigh a lot, but they seem to disappear once on. I would like to try their top of the line too. Sound wise, I enjoy them.
I recently went from the HD6XX to the Focal Stellia. I'm not an extreme audiophile, but the easiest way I can describe the difference, is that the HD6XX now feels like I'm listening to music under water - it's incredibly muddy in comparison, and the tight detailed response on the Stellia is insane. I've paired it with a Singxer SA-1, and still rocking the stock XLR cable. Planning on grabbing one of the Moon Dragon cables here soon (Black or Silver).
@@thelastmyrmidon Wow, that sounds like a big difference. I'm trying to get into hi-fi, and am really interested in the Focal brand. I actually just ordered some Focal tower speakers, haven't got them or heard them yet, but if I like those, I'm probably going to go for some Focal headphones next
Saw them today for first time.. Impressive speakers and this kit.. Too rich for me but classy .. Im managing on BangBang Olufsen H9S 3RD Gen
You might be too young but, back in the day, all we had was the Koss Pro 4A. and they sucked as far as comfort, and they weighed a ton…I still have mine just to remind me,
Came for a comparison between these, but what you presented sounded more like marketing material.
I really want Stellia on-the-go but Final A8000 seems more reasonable for carrying
Thought the Elex would be shown here :/
Would anyone recommend these for watching movies?
I had this same question, i asked a couple other youtube reviewers and they said absolutely, although probably a little overkill, sound is sound. In this review he does say they are awesome for gaming, so that would be much of the same. The only thing that would be missing IMO would be the big booming base and sound that you would find in a sennheiser set up, but I purchased the stellias a week ago and they are perfect in all occasions. anyone that tells you otherwise is just jealous they dont have them! haha
I suggest the clear, the stellai are way overkill for movies
Years ago, many of the best gamers used Sennheiser HD600 and HD650. Clarity and positioning can win games.
The only people that used the HD650 or 600 were people that understood music sound but not gaming sound. The 500 series(599, 560, 598) are better for gaming.
@@kalel33 why? lol
elex isn't there
Elex was a colaboración with another company... drop something
@@darkroom8317 so?
@@rickross6368 apparently you don’t get it
If I could afford it I would buy the Utopias. Maybe someday.
The HEDD headphone surpasses Utopia for a 1/3 of the price. But it’s heavier and build not as luxurious.
@@fizywig no it doesn't
@@rafael6693 1.supwrior tonity
2. Equ if not better data retrieval
3. Detail retrieval in the HEDD is detailed across the 3 frequency range* due to the AMT technology)
4. Very fast (again due to AMT)
5. UTOpia6 suffers from fatiguing impact, HEDD is a more sumptuous and even timbre and tonality suitable for long listening, no harsh ess. This is why many prefer Focal Clear to Utopia
5.Utopia is really designed for studio level listening rather than leisure although for the correct recordings its excellent.
@@fizywig i have the clears and i would be very surprised if in detail retrieval heddphone would be better than utopia in this specific department
@@rafael6693 I have the HEDDs , compared them to Utopia, I also have clears, clear is about 85% of Utoia data retrieval but like the Emporium its a relaxing listen unlike the Utopia for at least certain standard of recording.
Go to Resolve Reviews where the zHedd headphone has been exhaustively reviewed. Its only downfall is its weight.
Entry level ---$900
Seems right
what is the point in this video? You had a perfect opportunity to blind test these cans, given they're similarly shaped, but no of course you wouldn't think to do that would you.
I lost my respect for Focal when my Clear's could not handle the bass and drivers start to rattle and clip, thats a shame and real fail for company like Focal so many customers got that problem
