    Aloha Kengo San!
    I am Yonsei from Hawaii. This video brought back memories of my favorite major island in Japan. I have a friend whose parents lived in Nakatsu on the border of Fukuoka and Oita and visited Kyushu several times. The ryokan/onsen in Kyushu are great. I’ve been to onsen near Mt. Aso, Yufuin and somewhere in rural Fukuoka prefecture. I’m happy you enjoyed precious time and memories with your mom. I’m sure she worked hard to raise you like all moms.
    I appreciate the information and enjoy all your Japan videos. Keep up the strong work!
    Mahalo,
    Kiyoshi

      Hello Kiyoshi san, thank you for your comment. It's great you have Japanese name. Kyushu is a great place and I need to explore more in the future. Also, thank you for reminding me how hard times my mother went through for me. It's always important to keep that in my mind. I'll keep working for more videos about Japan. :)

    Nice to see you traveling with your mom! That is precious time together. Although we use public transportation, I’m sure there are viewers who would consider driving. So you provided useful information for them! We enjoyed seeing the onsen and what Kyushu has to offer the traveler. And thanks for sharing your mistakes so we all can learn from them. Thank you!

      Kevin san, Dayle san, thank you so much for your watching this video and your warm support! Yes, you can enjoy Kyushu even more by trians since Kyushu is home for many interesting trains. :) I'd love to go back for train trip next time. I realized that I need to pay extra attention to my bookings even just with 2 nights trip, so that is lots of preparation for travelers visiting Japan for weeks. I'll keep working on more videos. Thank you again!

      I have been to Kyushu in March for 3 weeks and its indeed so beautiful and varied. Make sure to include staying in a Ryokan where you get halfboard and there are Onsen at least once, thats an amazing experience. I travelled by train and bus, which is totally possible, but you need a bit more time, than if you have a car. Also, its good if you plan your route well, especially if you include some smaller places, where there might be only one bus per day.

      @tokyokenchan  Рік тому

      @@swissfoodie3542 Yes, exactly. It takes a little more time and planning to get around by trains in countryside, but it also has benefit of views and safety of not driving. :) Thank you.

    Thank you for another fabulous video Kenchan, my wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Kyushu about 20 years ago now. We enjoyed a stay in Kumamoto and visited Aso, cant recommend this amazing area enough. And great t see your mum joining you on your adventures, did she do any camera work for you?
    Cheers

      Matt san, thank you for such a kind comment. That's great to know you visited Aso 20 years ago. Yes, I needed to explain her a lot as she starts talking right next to me when I try to film nature sounds, but she helped me a lot, like this thumbnail. :)
