Smoke from SR20DET T28 with blown turbo seals

My mr2 is doing this now. I already swapped the head cause figured the seals were bad, but still smoking. Compression is right on the money, and through all the cylinders. So if my engine is holding compression, my head is rebuilt by a tested master tech, all gaskets metal with arp studs clamping it all to spec, and my turbo drain line and pressure line are new MAMBA replacements that I've used with success before.
All that said, unless my oil rings are blown and not losing any compression, then it must point to a bad turbo seal. I never realized that a blown turbo ring could smoke that much, at idle, and when it's cold.

If burning oil is blue. And turbo seals seal oil. Why is a blown turbo smoke white like burning coolant ?

Depending on that side of the turbo the seal went on, if its exhaust side you are having oil leak into your exhaust and you will have some moisture. So it will be more of a Sweet smelling grey/blue smoke. Obv. you should notice if your coolant levels are leaking, and or pull the plugs, and check the oil to see if you notice anything but oil.

@@Jyunka1 I get that. Still don't understand why a blown turbo is huge white clouds. Instead of blue.

@@TSCtheTHC lower temp. oil burning through turbo doesnt get fully burnt, thats why its accompanied by this dirty oil smell too when compared to blue smoke
