In today's video I tried to checkout servers that had 0 players on them in the MODDED tab in Rust... I have done this before with the video I Played on 0 Pop Rust Servers (they are wild)... but this time its MODDED! WOO

@@DenizenOfPluto on any regular vanilla server it wouldnt take too long until all the tracks lead to some clan bases comound of autoturret and roofcomper death zone :D

I think the reason we all like Brit so much is because he's like one of us. There's these youtubers doing mad movies etc that we would never do. But Brit just plays and enjoys Brit like a regular Joe like us. Also he gives me older brother playing a cool game while i watch vibes, homely.

Brit is the only person i know that can make fun of a 0 player modded server and still end up dying in them.
I play one called Rustees, nice and quiet with low level npcs to shoot instead of full gear zergy chads.
As an owner of a small server seems most of the players are either people just looking to goof around, show their friends who are new to the game how to play or just groups of friends looking to fight without randos.
Pretty much yes. I run a small pve server with a small 'core population' of about 10 people that come back every wipe. When someone joins they either stay for day, week, wipe or quit in the first 5 minutes.
@@NoxiousPluK I used to play a lot. Our clan had a few servers. But zergs and door campers really just ruined it for me, when I just wanted to build a neat little base and enjoy myself.
@@pwntwtf Yea I feel ya. This is why some people also play on cozy pve servers I suppose. We added some basic mods like raidable bases and some custom made ones to improve the experience a bit and you can build some amazing things with the building system that normal servers will never see.

@@NoxiousPluK yeah... I play in a PvE server. Custom map with 4 oil rigs, bradleys in every monument and customs monuments full of juggernauts 👍🏼
Hey Brit, I am the owner of the apocalypse server at the end of your video. I believe many of my community also follow and watch your videos. Nice to see you found it and in spectacular fashion 😂 that server i just did for my community to hop onto and have a change of scenery and have a laugh. I’ve never even advertised it. Been watching rust for 6 years, got a pc last year just to play it, only got 500 hours, but I still go on these types of servers to practice building, monuments and general "knowledge". Good to see a UA-cam trying them out 👍

The Days Gone Map is a really really cool idea and built pretty good.
yea i didnt notice it was days gone map until he reached o'leary mountain and found the safehouse, i just finished the game and i was like hmmm this looks familiar lol.
now that im looking at the map more i see it is fully modeled after the days gone map and is actually really badass!

7:00 o'leary mountain is a place in a game called days gone its a safehouse where you and your friend stay for a while at the beginning of the game, this appears to be modeled after that theres a fence surrounding the watch tower in the middle this was really cool to see on rust.

World map was my fave, so huge and the monuments have some amazing loot. Especially the hangar in Africa!! It's loaded with scientists and loot crates. I play a server called Evolved PVE and it's actually quite sick the amount of stuff they added for pve content. Should check it sometime!

The map you were on with the "Rulers Warehouse" was called Mythical World, from Lone Design's website. I bought the same map for one of the servers I admin for, for our players to have some fun a few wipes back. Good 3500 size map. That room you found is behind a fuse and a card, and loaded! ;) The fact that the door did not light up for you, means the server owner did not set up that map correctly to load the monuments also. So, they DO open, so you know, and are pretty loaded.

Some good pve servers have npc raid bases so you can practice, or just enjoy raiding for loot without getting beamed by a player with 2k hours on ukn or a cheater.
I like raid redemption. I usually play a day or two and then leave. Come back a couple weeks later. It's a nice change of pass from vanilla

There are so many of these well modded servers with awesome maps and mods to fulfill your hearts every desire, yet they are mostly empty while people grind away on official, being terrorized by zergs and toxic sweaty mofos, getting their souls crushed for no reason. It's a shame

This is what I did when I first started playing, it was okay, put down a base, whatever, knew somewhat about rust since I had played before but with my friends, built a super shitty base, dude laddered in my window, was raiding me, invited me to their clan, and got through my code locks I thought they were gonna team with me then they said “oh you’re new lemme hell you actually”
we saw the cliff but didn't expect a cliff hanger. that's the first time I've ever seen a rust UA-cam do that. I feel robbed rn.

Just gotta say Brit. You need to up your mic volume in these recordings and down your ingame audio a bit. Like damn, I have to put the video's volume to 80% with headphones to hear you. And the ingame sounds is blasting my ears then. LOL
I think they made O'Leary Mt. using a reference from Days Gone. That definitely looks like their little safe house.

The O'Leary Mountain is a Forest Service watch tower that Deacon and Boozer turned into a safehouse in the Cascade region. From the game days gone.

19:20 means the server owner doesn't have the mod that links those custom map items with wires to work properly. Inside that blue door is a loot room with a few military crates, a couple heli crates and a ton of boxes to open.
btw brit, the watch tower reminded u of fire watch because its almost exactly the same tower in it.
you should play the gordon project rust server, played it the other day, you can take over monuments and build a base in them.
something went wrong not only cause it ends midway there's randnom cuts too.

i remember we found one and we found the owners base and wiped it his outer tc were what zerg bases look like today and his main base was a castle filled with turrets we sat there shooting with a m2 explo fof so long it was fun
