    The onr has signals on it’s right of way however they don’t function.correct?

      I remember going up through this area way back in the 70s and even then it was ocs territory

      The signals on the ONR were purely automatic block signals (ABS), never CTC (centralized traffic control). Operation would have been by train order and later OCS. The signals only provide a safety overlay by showing track occupancy. There were deactivated when the Northlander passenger train was discontinued.

      From what I can tell this most likely would be from the mid 1980s (1985/86 or around there)
