      @Fisher's Shop - I always wonder how much of a shack the neighbor's house must be by now... eventually, it's going to be just a framed structure... LOL I'm always learning from his videos and there's always at least a little nugget of humor that sneaks in when least expected.

    Your neighbor has the most wood heavy house in the universe. At this point any normal house would have been stripped bare to the foundation. Not even furniture left. His house however - he hasnt even noticed... its one impressive house

    Holy hell! That's not a workbench, it's a work of art!
    I'm afraid my garage just wouldn't be worthy of such an impressive piece.
    Unless I built it out of cast-off pine, particle board, and OSB...

    You sir must be a master thief to do so well in your scavenging. The cabinet turned so well it looks as it was built with the bench from the beginning. Master level work there. I love the outtakes as well. Its good to know that mistakes are the amusing common factor we all share.

    Wow Drew, this piece definitely has to be in the Top 5 most beautiful workbenches out there~! I can see making one of these myself and it getting hijacked by my wife for use in the house (sideboard?). She'd be saying the same thing I'd be thinking, "That thing is too pretty to work on." Great job & great video~!! Thanks for sharing it. That last outtake is hilarious~!

    Great as always Drew! Love the "well I don't like that...." I can't tell you how often I say that to myself! I would like to say that I love the use of "flat" head screw. If only I saw a slotted screw in this build... ;)

    That's great, Drew. I'm one of those waiting for the flat head screw. Also, it took a while during the outtakes but the "Oh crap" finally showed up. Do you ever follow your neighbors after they move to their new house for a fresh supply of wood?

    Drew, that is one fine looking workbench. Just goes to show, just because something is for shop use doesn't mean it can't look good. I wish I had (or knew how to use) the 3-D design software for designing things like you do - I just have to envision them in my head and make the mistakes as I cut and assemble.

    I'm undecided on what entertains me more. You're builds, your humor or the editing. Oh and on a side note, this build is beautiful. I'd love to have that in my leather shop. Albeit, with a full range of shallow drawer to hold hand tools and patterns 😉leather, maple and walnut 😁now, that would be a beautiful contrast

    I can identify with "going over the top for a build"! I'm constantly reminding myself not to go too far so that I can actually finish a project in a timely manner. Workbench looks great!

    The endings are everything. They remind me that these polished videos I see online go through the same realizations and "adjustments" that I do. That I'm not a total idiot when I make a mistake and that it's part of the process.

    I too have a stash of "contraband" in my shop. It seems it a thing since days of old; when we cleaned out my granpas shop we also found some sweets he forgot about from years ago - he hid it so well HE couldnt even find it haha!

    6:07: "I put in a coved indentation for my fingers, and then chopped them all down to length at the miter saw." OUCH! Glad you didn't show that part. Another enjoyable, informative video!
