i think the original YT upload of this show might have gotten taken down and therefore my comment that highlighted for those that missed it: watch the cymbal line at around 6:06
Broken city shows are generally made to be interpreted differently to each viewer. Each person should take a different and personal meaning away from their shows.
Former cop Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg) sees a chance at redemption for past sins when New York City's Mayor Nicolas Hostetler (Russell Crowe) calls on him for a special job. Hostetler thinks his wife, Cathleen (Catherine Zeta-Jones), is having an affair and that it may hurt his chances for re-election. However, a bigger scandal than expected pulls in Billy right at the start of his investigation. Double-crossed by the mayor, Billy begins a relentless quest for justice.
This show is beautiful. Every moment culminates to such a perfect pinnacle. It's not just a hype train. This is absolute artistry.
Justin Brewer this is just a 1 chapter from the bloom Trilogy. The whole trilogy is insane.
Some of the best show design I’ve ever seen
dodobobby I think it’s the abstract visual design and artistic choreography that makes this show so appealing.
Cedric Baker Jr yeah, and all the sick visual combined with the story, (or at least my interpretation) is just amazing
It took me a while to like this show, but now I see how godtear it was.
Having them rehearse at my school was amazing! They were so kind and taught us so much
I cry most of the times I watch this
This ending kills me every time.
Favorite show this year. This show is pure art, and undoubtedly will influence shows from here on out
I almost forgot to watch this today
2:58 FUCKING CHILLS EVERY TIME
This front is ridiculous. Also, shoutout to the all female marimba line.

The first one was
I was there and my high school was the school they always rehearsed at
Bruh after the first one someone in the audience just went oooOOOOOooOOOOooOoOoooOoooo
someone in snareline in the back clicked with their tounge the tempo,
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 SHOT 10 11 12 13 14 15 SHOT
i cant imagine how much money they spend on microphone cables
what’s the piano piece called around the 4:00 minute mark
Ok so my school has those props now and they are just solid metal and they are soooo heavy
they were at the school my indoor group rehearses at and we had to load and unload those from our truck every weekend for a month
Can anybody tell me the lyrics from the vocals?
Look up Adam Watts "Hero and the Pain"
Bruuuhh thanks
Did blue coats change into broken city
Feedback loop made it better tho
Ping shot hear round the world
Wow..
Does anyone know who writes their shows or where I can find them
Mike Jackson writes battery and Kevin Shah writes front. There are probably more people involved with the design too but those are the two I know
What's the concept?

Me: What's the concept
Broken City: Yes
Me: What
Broken City: Exactly
I believe it’s the spine of the body, and of the mind. At the beginning I think everyone at the top left were making the shape of the brain
I see left hand shots are thier thing
goddamn...
What’s the song they used in the show called
A Michael Norden “running out of heroes” and i believe some of “the hero and the pain” both by adam watts
uhhh damian thanks
I heard 2 rimshots...
damn 4000 views
14,000 now...
Smera Dhal 33,000 now

😂😂
Pretty sure it’s about the nervous system of the body
So I guess I'm the only one who doesn't understand what's so good about those rim shots?
RADZADproductions have u ever done a left hand traditional shot? Now try to do it with 8 other people in time
With no duts or cues or feet.
Coming out of a buzz roll into a halt
yet having an internal tempo in your mind from playing your instrument for so long along with others who are the same.
The only "not so great" part was the 2nd shot not being together. But the concept was there and was done exceptionally welll
They should've all taken a money shot! That performance SUCKED!
ok RW FourFour very cool, your opinion was very much needed on this intricate performance and show design
