Milo Johnson 2:33.
1:41
1:20 I didn't know idubbbz marched Broken City
losing to marching marimbas ): crippling depression
Lucas Labado I was about to comment the same thing.
So freaking clean. Love these guys! Go Josh!
Zak Reiff Yea Josh!!
That snare cheesin and grooving at 1:43 makes me so hype
One of their tenors looks straight out of an anime

@@dylanthecurator9068 I'm crying bro 😭😭😭
@@dylanthecurator9068 4 years ago is crazy
@@pabloguerrero6698 terribly sorry for my comments here, i’d like to think i was just making a terribly phrased comment about his hair but yeah that was insane
look at the snare drummer at 4:28
you'll know who
Did he wink?
Ethan S-D he shoulda done it 8 seconds earlier
yay matt gomez
Ethan S-D Dabbbb
1:44 MADE YA LOOK!
How basic . . .
Does Broken City and Blue Knights have the same writer? they sound very similar in composition
Kumquat The writer for Broken City is Roger Carter who also writes for the Bluecoats. He's the guy that's always on the drumset when they warm up.
yea i realize that now from another vid i watched, thanks
Mike Jackson writes for both Broken City and Blue Knights. Roger however wrote the snare solos for both Cage and Spine.
Okay, that snare lick was cold
THE CLEANEST SHOTS
That's a lot of emotion
They got us 1:43
Yes please
ICONIC
does anyone know what the show is about, like why they were speaking into microphones at the end
ua-cam.com/video/CrkOpOK7YZU/v-deo.html watch this and it gives a pretty good interpretation of this show and the other two shows of the trilogy
What are they doing with their left hands at 1:26? It sounds like they're snapping the snares on or something, but I can't see them actually hitting anything.
MegaBlahblah33 there turning on their snares on the drum
MegaBlahblah33 we had a vent system on our rims (when the vents are open, the air from the impact when we hit the drum travels outward from them creating a boomy/loud sound -- instead of staying inside the drum) and we were pushing the mechanism to close the vents in unison at that part. good question
it's randall may's acoustic eq
1:26 What is the thing they switch on/off and what does it do?
Secretagent733 those are vents, turning on and off
Drum 2 they make the resonance so strange though, I just got one on my snare and it’s so deep when the vents are open it’s crazy
@@dbnois3 hi david brannan
one of the snares look like idubbz
4:29 dab, son.
Text PIWBC to 30191 to vote for Broken City for hottest marimba line

What's the sound in the ballad that sounds like someone's rolling on a drum rim? Is it a sample?
Other than dynasty mapex drums are the best sounding
