Come back, Jeff
...
My name jeff
Puahaha
Oh, hi 😊 It was a fast answer
+Bohemian Sinner That pain while screaming though! ~~
Yes, come back Jeff!
Life is just dream, so stop complaining or being afraid of it and live it before you close your eyes forever. I loved the message of the this video. Great work.
I think this song has to be Mr. Buckley's greatest performance out of his whole career. Either this, Lilac Wine, Mama You've Been On My Mind, or Lover, You Should've Come Over. It's so unfortunate Sony didn't release this song sooner but I understand that it was just a demo and he was widely respected until post death. My opinion (and as i'm reading, a bunch of people's) is that they should have really kept the video original to Jeff. I don't know about keeping it 90's style but maybe compile moments of Jeff walking or writing or singing or whatever. Everything he did was emotional, and this song is very emotional. I mean come on, the video could have been of Jeff on a bus and it would still be as effective as the song itself is. It's sad to think he's gone. He would have left us with more to remember him for; more beautiful poems and heart-filled songs. I bet he was a great guy.
What a beautiful feeling, Jeff we need you.
What a productive day this girl had!
Come back, my angel.
Hey guys, before start hating this video because Jeff wouldn't like it, or it's not his vibe, not 90's, wherever, put things on the table:
First, no one here can talk by Jeff our reading his thoughts;
Second and the most important thing, the human being changes his concepts of life, tastes, desires, dreams, along with his life until his dead, so what Jeff loved and his meaning of life, could change until today,
So it will be unknown if Jeff would approve this video or not!
Regarding this team of artist, I just have to say, good work. I'm sure it was done with passion for Jeff's talent.
it was made by blind studio
La voz de Jeff se convirtio en mi compañia preferida desde niño.
miss him so much
awesome three
Why do people complain about the video? It's so classy to me. Even the interactive orchestration was better than the version on the album. But why didn't you put all those instrument and back vocal additions to this video?
+Elle Aime I can't speak on behalf of the other but, as far as I'm concerned, this is the whole "JeffBuckleyvevo" that feels terribly wrong to me. He died in 1997 and though I can understand that one would want to promote "new" songs he performed decades ago, it feels more respectful to leave it to the audio only, or with a picture of him or I don't know...just, something he, at least, gave a bit of agreement. Sure we cannot know wether he would have liked the whole thing or not, but it just feels more respectful to me not to take the chance...
Now, as far as the video is concerned, if it were "fanmade", I definitely wouldn't have any problem with it. (Sorry for the long answer and for my mistakes, I'm french, like your alias.)
Muito bom ... Gostei imenso.
I like the video.
i have no words.
happy birthday jeff
💜
UA-cam was a wrong host for this type of media! Great and fresh work, tho. Congrats!
With good music, who needs visuals? Use your ears and imagination.
First ! I love you Jeff!
let him rest in peace.
+Harold BeaumontFinns publish the work of an artist after his death, without his permission, for me is not acceptable. Jeff had a deep bond with his music, for example, he did not want to publish "to forget her" because he felt very personal. This is very disrespectfull. We'll never know the thought of Jeff on this album.
ps: if you can not argue, not talk like shit. Scumbag.
I was under the impression his mother is in control of his estate and what gets released is up to her. I think she knew him better than me or you. This video certainly isn't disrespectful to him in the slightest because he recorded and played this song live many times. So to say "let him rest in peace" to a video that is just a little bit of a homage to this song is not really necessary is it.
+Harold BeaumontFinns we can talk without insulting each other. I respect your teory however.
This video could easily have been a shitty life insurance advert
This song is the shitt man jeff Buckley destroyed me haha I personally think this video is actually amusing,at least there's a story? People are so nastyy Dont be hating. Animation is a step by step gradual thing. There's a lot people involved in the process, even if it's not the 'right vibe' for this song. You should check out the making of this video, they're a TEAM.cant imagine their efforts being put down . Keep up the good work guys!
The video isn't good for this song... It's like another vibe
Yeah I agree.....it's too cutesy. I like the video but not for this song.
+Isaac Aguilar didn't know that. But like I said, it's a cute video but not for this song.
I agree
It's about the maze of emotions that we all experience throughout our relationships. Depending on your emotional perspective, the simplest activities can feel very different.
I don't quite understand how this video goes with the song. Not that I'm exactly here to watch it.
why why why :'( killing the vibe?
The interactive one i guess is an interesting concept but the animation doesnt go with the song at all nor do i think it should be interactive. Honestly, all of the music videos they recently put out arent very good the best id say was I know its over. Everyday people was completely terrible and cheesy.
Great song and video is highly recommended but listen with your eyes closed.
remember
How about redoing this with pics of Jeff, his girl friends. Would be so much more personal. He was not a cartoon at the very least.
doesn't fit at all 2:27 please...
Where was he living when he died and did police search his home because my exhusband kicked me when pregnant with a pair-
Does he have an ex that goes by Mary Sue?
Super wannabe indie hipster. Jeff would hate it.
Totally agree lol!
I agree. It looks like a fucking phone commercial
Disagree. I dont think a pure soul like Jeff could hate
This video completely destroys the 90's vibe of the song. I don't know who did it but 👎
+Pati Lopez what 90's vibe of the song? not to mention it's a 60's song
Not Jeff Buckley's version of it.
but I get more the vibe of Jeff's father, Tim, because the original song is from the sixties. And, well, their voices are so similar and different at the same time. To me this is like a Tim Buckley cover of Dylan, but recorded in the 90's. Anyway, whatever, I love it
The video is good, but it doesn't fit with the song
Horrible video for a great song
Is that family missing a pair of Doc Martens of Jeff Buckleys - my exhusband kicked the life out of me when I was pregnant with a pair that felt like an anvil- but he flipped out on me listening to Yard of Blonde Girls- is his widow Mary Sue Buckley or Sutton- and does he have a son -but my mother and exhusband are getting married and telling me to kill myself- and my kid willl
E pior, SEM O CONSENTIMENTO DO ARTISTA!!!
The clip is awful, several rough, repetitive, randomly arranged drawings that go with neither the timing nor the feeling of the song, WHICH HAD MORE THAN 2 MINUTES AND HALF CUT! CUT THE BEST PART OF MUSIC! And worse, WITHOUT THE ARTIST'S CONSENT !!! (for the same is deceased ...)
It amazes me to VEVO, a company that works with music, DO NOT UNDERSTAND OF MUSIC! Is not enough just the current music industry to produce only commercial music, short and canned, now also pick up the masterpieces of the past and destroy, to enter the "axis" scrotum of the current songs? You picked up something beautiful, and made it ugly ... HONOR JEFF'S MEMORY AND DELETE THAT GARBAGE THAT YOU PRODUCED !!! Pretend you never did! It will look more beautiful even for you...
The video is interactive where you can alternate between four scenes of different states of a relationship. This is one. The others are a man alone, the man and woman deeply in love, and the man and woman after time has passed and the relationship is jaded and all but over. I think it's much more effective and more related to the song when you view it how it was intended (because it can't be interactive on youtube).
Jeff Buckley gave me a msg to deliver to you from the grace: Shut da Fkkk Up, and stop attacking other people's artistic licence and self expression
really dislike this video
It doesn't fit at all.
Good video, but... wrong choice of song.
I can only imagine Jeff Buckley's voice into a concert of him, where he expresses it all with his performance.
This video doesn't make sense, it's a good job, but... not.
Really horrible video to match Jeff's vibe and performance.
