The TRANS Iowa Low Cost Milking Parlor is one of the safest, most ergonomically correct and labor efficient way to milk cows. Designed by Dr. Larry Tranel, Dairy Specialist, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. It employs good "cow psychology" to assist cow movement with a good crowd gate so one person can milk 70+ cows per hour.
