Beautiful songs. It's always nice to hear women singing like this. I myself want to learn some of these songs and hearing this is encouraging. I think I'm so used to hearing male voices singing these songs all the time, sometimes it makes me feel like my voice is too high pitch or I catch myself deepening my voice when singing along with the old recorded cassette tapes haha
I know what you mean, I use to think the same way. Sing as though you're talking through your nose but learn to control the pitch. I too enjoy going into tipi ceremonies with other female singers. But thank you for taking the time to listen and comment.

It is somekind of bliss that i cannot describe and it started when i listened to your songs. Noticed they verses go like a spiral preparing the final verse of each circle which sounds like "hey ney yo wey". I would love to learn more about it.
