Just picked up an 86 and I love it!
They are sweet little cars
Toyota are great cars
Yep this one's pretty slick I got to admit
awesome video! subscribed, looking forward to more videos!
Thank you I appreciate it very much!
I asked for the squirrel picture, I'd love to take a look, I'm in Orlando
You're awesome. The world needs more people that are nice with a sense of humor.
Hey Man, just wondering how tall you are? Seems like the roof gives you a few more inches to work with
Well my dad is 5'6 and my grandfather was 6 ft 2 so I landed right in the middle at 5 ft 8. My height is not the problem, it's my circumference! Lol
Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
@@greasebellygarage hmmm you think a guy that's 6'4 could fit? 😂
@@darqshark3506 ummmmmm I don't think so! Although it is roomier than I expected it to be.
What is that adjustment at 9:42? I had my 85 AW11 AC converted and just need a new compressor for it.
It's hard to see in the video, but there is a white plastic valve that looks like a hex head with a slot in it and a spring around the base. You can turn that counterclockwise or clockwise to address the idle speed when the compressor comes on. I think it's an air conditioning idle control valve. All those older Toyota's have them.
Any tips on where to start looking for possible vacuum leaks?
Most Toyota vac leaks I've seen are from the air intake hoses. When they get older they crack and sometimes it's hard to see the crack. There are lots of videos on his to find a vacuum leak that you can check out. Some leaks happen when the engine is warm also. Good luck and thanks for watching.
@@greasebellygarage thanks! Yeah, I found that the air intake hose was cracked. Now having a very hard time finding a replacement part. Apparently they’re not made anymore
@@andresmoreno3132 Amazon! Good luck!
New Sub wish you could fix the AC on My Aw11.
Thanks for subscribing. Usually those old Toyota ACS from the 80s don't have much wrong with them except maybe a small leak. You can also check that electric fan in the front behind the condenser and make sure it's functioning.
@@greasebellygarage I think I have to replace the shrader valve. as for the fans I unplugged the sensor so its on full blast. Gonna need to take it to a shop for AC drain and fill.
Yeah that's the best thing to do at this point schrader valves are easy to do but you need to pull a vacuum on the system before you refill it. If we were local to each other I'd knock it out for you.
@@greasebellygarage Thank You!! I so wish you Could!!
how much are you selling for?
I just sold it last week for 4000.
Typical woman, hitting a man where it really hurts the most. The guts and the garage. Maybe it’s time to get one of those pronouns wallers 😂, CHEERS BIG EARS,🍺🇬🇧.
