I used to have this backpack, bought from a friend of mine (who lives in the City of Makassar, Indonesia BTW hahah) - and boy, I love this bag. The canvas was classic macassar print and like other older LV bag, it actually felt thicker and durable comparing to the nowadays Eclipse. This bag looked heavy but once you have it in your hand, it actually pretty lightweight. The canvas was strong enough and not really malleable like the new ones, the flap’s leather material was really good, black matte with solid finish. You may get some scratches on the flap if you are really, really, really not being careful but a suitable leather treatment will make it go away. The inner fabric was deep burgundy, and it could look a bit slumpy on the bottom side if you put it standing up on the table, but I used a measured insert to keep the shape (and it works). The inner compartment would not hold a 12 inches ipad pro, but that does not matter - you can store the ipad pro inside and still it will not destroy the shape. Once you put it on your back, this bag would strikingly eye catching and retained the shape excellently. Sadly I lost this bag in 2020 (that’s another story). Now I am looking for the only Eclipse bag that I can tolerate - the Steamer Eclipse Backpack……

Was eyeing this backpack years ago. Great looking bag, but thinking about it now it probably isn’t worth retail. The closure on it doesn’t seem practical, but for around $1300 I would consider it aha
