I was one of the very first to fish Clattercote back in 96 when it first opened for fishing. They had just stocked with carp and it was still filling with water after being drained for cleaning. We stood up to our ankles in mud and caught small carp by the bucketful , got bored in the end . Looks a bit different now
Hi Ian and Rob, just a quick question, how do u calculate the drop back when casting your lead and hook bait, how do you calculate what length to set your spod to, if you was say fishing 40 yards out and the depth of the water is say 18 feet deep,

Been clattercoat a few times when Daventry was hosting someone 48hr match lovely place fished both sides and loved it there. Mainly on dog biscuits

A mate and I did 72 fish on a 24 here back when we fish started, not a difficult water by any stretch. Feed em and they'll come
