- August 12, 2023, Waianae came to Kahuku for a Football game. Here is the whole game in under 20 min. It was also my mother's birthday and she wanted to come to the game. She is 98 today. Hope you enjoy the video, thanks.

I would love to see Galena Park North Shore from Texas play Kahuku in Hawaii some day, just to witness the sea of red, and call it “The Battle for the North Shore.” It would also be a great game with a field full of great players.

I went to leilehua a long time ago. Back in those days Waianae was a power in the Rural league. But that was before Campbell high school and Nanakuli high school were in the league. After those high schools were built Waianae high school lost a lot of prospects. Kahuku was good too at the time along with Castle high school Waialua high school.

Waianae just needs to drop out or get rid of football, they don’t need a football program anymore. the kids are so small now days and don’t have the hard hitting, the grind, the passion for football, that Waianae was so known for back in the days. When schools had to play Waianae on there season schedule they had fear already. Waianae is only known for the party’s , music, best fighter, ufc, boxing.
Maybe drop out of open division but to get rid of the program, hmmmm. Now your suggesting kids should not pursue sports and should party more. Plain stupidity.

Lol das ok this is always the outcome when they challenge beginning of season but when it’s playoffs the game is way closer. Idk why but it’s been like that for the past few yrs. Nowadays these waianae kids rather be boxers an mma fighters then football players. That’s why Waianae has alit of pro fighters nowadays. To bad it’s like that. The times has changed.

Also Not To Mention, Alot Of These Kahuku Players Attend The Camps In The Mainland During The Off Season, Some Of Them Stay The Whole Summer Break.. The Community Of KAHUKU Loves Their Football, It's In Their DNA, It's FOOTBALL Country Down There, It's Like Having Alabama Football In KAHUKU..Lol!
