hey i wrote a review of all the songs song 1: Good but doesn't sound Ultrakill-ish. Sounds like maybe something that could be in Madness Combat or an old flash game/animation? Also I don't think a drop would really work in a non-boss Ultrakill song, but on it's own is good. Overall opinion: Good but weird. song 2: Oh now THIS fucking bangs. Great job. Amen Breaks are on point, and I like the guitars and piano thing too. It's like if Hakita remade a prelude song but in his current style (like the part near the end where you just sample Into The Fire[?]). Overall Opinion: Great stuff. My favorite song out of all of these. song 3: Yet another banger. I like the guitar and drums yet again, and the "string" (idk how to describe it) thing that plays throughout the song is good too. I like the use of synths too. And the main melody is great. song 4: This one is... something. Really melancholic vibes. I don't really know what else to say. song 5: The breakcore aspects in this one work really well in comparison to the more DnB vibes of the other songs. Still good, but the other songs are better. The piano at the start is good though. Overall Opinion: Well, not EVERY song in an album has to be good :P In conclusion: Yeah I'll definitely take inspiration from this when making my own fan-OSTs, and also add song 2 to my playlist.
While i definitely feel that if Inquiry was going for a more prime-style melody (as the name seems to imply) it could have used some longer drawn out strings like Order or War, i actually think the song works better as is. While the other two songs give off a feeling of power, Inquiry's breakcore section almost feels as if the boss is just _faster_ than you and you're struggling to keep up. (PS) i think the breakcore section on Inquiry gets just a _little_ repetitive imo. if i had to propose a solution to this, (and bear with me here i know its kinda rude to "fix" someone else's music but i'm doing it anyway.) i would suggest maybe mixing up the melody of, but not completely changing, the breaks. srry for text wall.
@@clusterflood Gameplay-wise? Probably reduces a little bit of cooldown time on all weapons that have them when absorbed. Lore-wise? Tastes like mustard. Mmm.
I have been unable to get the piano from Frostbitten Angelic out of my head for months now, the longest I've ever had a song stuck in my head, because usually it lasts for a day or two. It's so damn good.
Song 3: As you come closer to your inevitable demise, the screams of fate have come to take you and return you to scrap for eternity, the entirety of your victims that you’ve killed have come back to fight you, all for your final stand to whatever Hell has to offer…
Machine… it’s about time… *heh*. Here we are, machine. The final layer of this infernal pit. It’s about time we’ve had our final showdown now, isn’t it? Besides, I want to enjoy these last few hours of mine with a battle of wits, I can sense your bloodlust, and I must say, I’m looking forward to our fight. So what do you say, machine? One final fight? Heh, I knew you wouldn’t deny it. Well then, let’s see who drops first.
listening to all the songs while playing the cyber grind gave me the power to beat my record and FINALY get 100%. got to wave 50 (previous record was 48) and the 3d song's beat drop kicked in and it felt amazing. got to wave 57 on that run.
do you plan on uploading words of a dead man or inquiry? i honestly love all of these songs here, and those two very much. this whole ost builds off ultrakill's sound with dnb and becomes honestly some of the best "pseudo-breakcore" i've seen in a while i ESPECIALLY love the contrast in the instruments and synths used in inquiry, it reminds me of marzuku's at ends with how it blends the drums with everything else. perfidy warranty and mulcifer's gelid have similarly become utter ear worms for me i love both of their rhythms. frostbitten angelic also fucking bangs obviously i just wanted to say that all of the songs on here are extremely enjoyable in their own ways
@@radioactiveentertainment5059 I don't think so, at least in ULTRAKILL. Lucifer is mentioned by name as an angel, whereas Satan is a generic term meaning "adversary". In Islam, "al-Shatyan" refers to a number of devils. My take is either Hell or Gabriel are Satan, the great Adversary.
second song just doesnt have enough engagement in everything aside from the break, and the break is WAY too loud, same with the third one. the boss theme definitely has better mixing, but the other ones feel really rough, just try making things less barebones. ive also noticed that none of them really have a melody or a thing theyre following and thats pretty weird. layer shit, add otha shit etc etc make it not feel so empty cuz it just doesnt sound good. either way youre on the right track
Yeah I knew something like this would show up, but I am glad someone pointed it out. This was my first time making Ultrakill songs in general, I'll keep your advice in mind when I make my next Ultrakill soundtrack (which is in the works, slowly). AND final thing: I never expected you to comment on this! I loved WAR and the other songs you've made! Keep up the great work, you were actually an inspiration for me making Ultrakill fan tracks, so yeah thank you for the advice!

Song 2 samples unstoppable force towards the end.
Honestly this sounds like a madness combat ost but hank is replaced with V1. And yeah this is so freaking good
“You decided to name it Hank.”
this makes me wonder about what the effects of atp blood would be on v1

By far one of my favorite fan-OST for ultrakill, goes seriously hard! I'm looking forward for more if this!

DAMN! This shit is great! You earned my sub and respect. Hope this blows up.
really underrated, i didn't really like song 1 but song 2 is absolute vibe, keep up good work
considering 7-1's sneakpeek song i think treachery might just be silent with a few piano notes here and there
how would you fight a bunch of ice cubes
first song gives me castle crashers vibe and i'm fuckin with it
i thought i was the only one who thought of castle crashers with the first song
glad im not the only castle crashers enjoyer out there in 2023.

I actually love how menacing the vacuum of Mulcifer's Gelid is. In Chord of the Crooked Saints it's way more aggressive and scary.
Frostbitten angelic is my favorite.

i get Antarctic reinforcement vibes from the second song, banger
Makes sense considering both are ice-themed.
Breakcore / Drum & Bass portrays ice and snow very well it seems.
I can almost see cryogen whooping my ass in infernum mode as I listen to it.

While i can hear that a lot of these were made with loops, this isnt a bad thing. I love this to death, and i love every soundtrack in this.
Seems common knowledge that while not all these fit in ultrakill, some certainly do, and all of these tracks are good in one way or another
