For me the key is always to start as simple as possible and focus on consistency first. After a while my brain starts to crave that new habit and then I can add more time and I know it will stick. Started running last year once a week, now I run three times because my body started to crave it. Thanks for the video!

Spot on - many people try to do everything at once, put too much pressure on themselves, then it all falls apart. Starting small and compounding is the better way to do it. Thank you for watching!

I can confirm that the “changing your identity” method works. I used it to quit smoking the 2nd time around. First time I quit, I constantly craved cigarettes and substituted it with drinking. I ended up smoking again after 2 years. When I quit the 2nd time, I told myself, “from Jan. 11 onwards, I’m not a smoker. I don’t smoke.” and quit cold turkey. That was 7 years ago and I haven’t had a cigarette since. I was a long-time smoker and it was one of my favorite things to do. The mind is a very powerful tool that can be programmed to do whatever you want it to. You only have to decide what you want and act from the place where you want to be.
