Florida was loaded, my hogs had the best backfield in my opinion in the country that year. Nutt should have left the Fresh QB in all year and he knows it. Dick was somewhere around 3-19 against LSU and Nutt let him kill us. I think Florida was the best team and really proved it against Ohio St that year but the HOGS after getting killed by USC to start the season really gave us fans a surprising ride that year and is one of my fav years as a HOG fan.
Mustain should have played all season and he likely doesn't transfer to USC and become a beach bum who never played again. Would likely have been the best QB in Arkansas history.
Along with this game I remember being the biggest UCLA fan on this night. Never thought they'd actually take down USC to free up #2. And people actually thought Michigan shoulda played OSU for the natty over Florida 🤮
@@chrisk3536 WRONG!!! The closest we got the entire game was before he dropped that punt inside the 5 yard line. florida went back up by 10 on that td recovering his muff in the end zone. I was there. That play Killed All momentum and fired them back up including their 70,000 fans.

Absolutely, who was the boss DE for UCLA who basically won that game for us? I don't follow them but I remember he made play after play and I believe a game ending int. Think he went high in the draft.

Worst game ever. I was there. reggie fish cost Arkansas both the SEC and National Titles. I'm still disgusted nearly 20 years later.
