- Last time I installed the Harvies and started producing food and seeds for processing so today it is time to process the rice and sees into biomass and produce some hydrogen for the water production. While doing that I might get a timely reminder to take care of a few of the neglected items that I said I would do later and then forgot.
If you want to save a little bit of power, you can code the harveys to only turn on when they activate. PS love these series
They are only 10W and power is not that critical on Venus. But it would be handy for when I have unclog the Harvies and reset them all.
What's wadah?
Is this still viable to use one hydroponics device for each row of Hydroponic trays? Bcs with Genetics Update each plant will grow differently fast from generation to generation.
Drives me crazy that rice gets stuck on things and you can't pick it up without deconstructing items (particularly the hydroponics trays). I've also had trouble getting the rice to go through the chutes without getting stuck or falling out of the chutes. My harvies are forever giving me trouble, how do yours always seem to be working perfectly?

Short answer. They dont work perfectly. (possible load in issue). Remove them and reinstall to rebind the chute connections and it seems to work after that. Make sure that you have enough space in the chute system to take everything coming out of the Harives so the items don't back up and cause blockages.

I genuinely don't understand how your chutes/harvies loop works... How don't you end up with rice in the inputs of the harvies instead of seeds? (ignoring the fact that distinguishing rice seeds from harvest is not the most clever thing Rocketwerks have ever done)
Because it doesn't matter. Both rice and rice seeds are valid to plant rice in the game.
The seeds get picked first and fill the harvies then the rest overflows to the recycler.
Plants are being reworked on beta branch as the moment.

@@boris3320 Seeds are here so you can storage it without decay. After the decay was introduced without seeds, you had to always replant the food or at some point you will have no food anymore, because everything decayed. And if you was to slow to build the greenhouse, you would have only found decayed food in the lander.
@Cows are evil I did post a comment on your 1 year old video automating the rockets I have an issue that I would like to get addressed in case I did something wrong, also My rocket is only rigged for gas mining I have 2 fuel tanks but 2 of my displays are not right or something is not right with them. Also in the code where you said sb tank Activate r0 the housing is giving me an error saying IncorrectLogicType
and also on your line 35 I believe where you but l r0 recall Setting my housing also says error unknown line 33 my code line.
I removed the comment from the last video as I thought it would be better to post it on a recent video.
The rocket code is set up for gas mining.
@@cowsareevil7514 I know you have ore mining , ice mining , junk miner, mine is just gas mining nothing else
@@cowsareevil7514 That is a question you many be able to answer how do I seperate the fuel tank from the 2nd RocketFueltank01 that would hold collected gasses in. Also sometimes when I unload the collected gas tank the rocket fuel also goes down.
