5:10 - I love how the Thestrals become visible as soon as you witness the death of that Ministry agent. Your character, who's presumably never witnessed death, just saw a man get eaten alive just 2 minutes into the game lmao. This is honestly one of the best video game intros I've ever seen. Got me hooked right from the start. Amazing story telling.
Right! I loved the exact same thing especially how they did the prologue and tutorial within the story telling, you learn slowly while going through the story without being overwhelmed by UI and combat, yet it's fast paced and engaging. The reason you have to learn everything from the beginning from the potion you drink for the HP bar, to the book menu, everything has an explained reason in the story too.
Hogwarts Legacy has always been my favorite Harry Potter game because I could customize my own character, experience Hogwarts like never before, explore the Wizarding World, buy some stuff at shops and more, create my own wand, and learn different spells to take on any enemies who tried to take over the Wizarding World.
Well, this was quite an editing accomplishment! Watching all of this epic “movie” provided a great deal of pleasant time decompressing from my days and lead me to restful nights. My wife and I read each Harry Potter book to our kids as we all cuddled together, and as each book was released from the publisher. Together we rejoined the novels with each movie release. This was a cornerstone to our years as a growing family, and your work here helped me to recapture a bit of that true magic that is now in my adult children. Thank you for your hard work and spirit of generosity as you built this piece by piece. May the best life offers come to you. Namaste 🙏🏼🌿

I was surprised when the professor killed Isadora, I honestly thought we would be fighting some magic infected version of her that had gone full evil and been sealed along with the magic.
I absolutely loved the intro, one of the things I hope we find out one day is more about Miriam, why did she send the container with the key to George and not to her supposed husband Prof. Figg? And where did she find it in the first place. Just curious. I hope we get a HL 2 that continues the same character to year 6. and we get an adventure on the Hogwarts Express with it.

A lot of people who try a hand at making a game movie often just stitch the cinematics together, over the years we came to realise that often, that wasn’t enough, much of the story is told during the game play moments, so on our channel we edit movies with just enough gameplay to make sure the story keeps making sense. A lot of the game play has been removed. When we had finished recording we had 90 hours of video. But edited 90 hours into 10 hours.
@@jadeconstantine2791 there could be multiple reasons for the longer runtime with this one, the six hour one might just be compiled cutscenes where as this one has cutscenes that are delicately stitched together with just enough gameplay to keep the story “flowing” also this is the PS5 version of the game which had an extra DLC quest. Also this contains a large portion of what I considered to be important side quests, the six hour one might be main mission quests only.

I watch this every night now with low vol just enough to barely hear them w the sleep timer set to 1h. Sleeping and dreaming like a baby lost in the world of hogwarts and forgetting about the cruel actual world before entering it the next morning. Thanks for this mister G 🫡
