Lotus Press Conference - Type 66 Intro - Aug 18, 2023

The Golden Gate Lotus Club was front and center at The Quail, on August 18, 2023 for introduction of the Lotus Type 66. The Type 66 was thought to be lost, but design drawings were found by Clive Chapman of Classic Team Lotus leading to the building of a Can-Am race that was designed to go racing in the 1970 season. Weighing only 900Kg with a 800+HP pushrod V8, only 10 are planned to be built for 10 lucky customers!

What series is it going to compete in? One could paint it orange and it'd look a lot like a McLaren. I don't get it.
