Sam, can I just say that seeing someone on youtube with skin issues has really helped me confidence wise. I've struggled with acne for over 10 years and I love how confident you are. I finally feel like I can relate to someone on youtube.
Lydia you should check out "thataylaa" she is struggling with bad acne and gives awesome reviews :) I have the same problem as you. I have bad scarring from my acne
Sina Mae93 I was just going to suggest this! She's great. I saw in one of her recent videos she is about to start a new treatment for her skin. I forget what it's called but apparently it's pretty well-known and is also a pretty drastic treatment. But I do really enjoy watching both ladies
She's about to start accutane, which I'm actually about to start my second round of! It worked great the first time but unfortunately my acne came back because my dosage wasn't strong enough
Lmao 😂 you have to watch Chloe Morello's video applying the Marc Jacobs full coverage foundation. It is one of the funniest makeup related YT vids I have ever seen. It is called: "Re-Upload! 1st impressions with contrasting yellow & purple makeup (fail)". I have watched it more than once when I am having a bad day 😂
I love how you're funny and witty but still so intelligent and it's clear that you know what you're talking about. You should do another video while you periscope. I enjoyed that one a lot!
Fun fact about the PMG palettes, unless someone has already shared it with you. I work at a Sephora and was doing training with someone from PMG, and apparently the last four colors in each of the three palettes (the fun duo-chrome colors) are meant to be used wet. You can use them dry but they were designed to be used wet with a mixing medium like Mehron or even a setting spray or water. And it won't change the formula of the eye shadow in the palette if it gets wet like some other palettes will.
That is good to know. I'm planning to get I & III, I'm not getting II b/c as much as I love that green, outside of the black that's in each palette, another one of the shades is repeated between II & III.
::sam goes to put pink eyeshadow over green:: ::i grip my blanket and pull it up to my chin & turning my head with one eye still on the screen “Noooo, don’t do it!” I think to myself.. turns out amazing & I’m mesmerized😍
I honestly don't really understand why an average person would care if the shade names are on the palette? I get why it would be helpful for someone who does tutorials, but I personally never look at shade names.
Jennifer Spindler I like knowing the shades and having them handy for two reasons 1) if you're following a makeup tutorial on UA-cam and listening more than watching the video 2) if someone asks what eyeshadow I have on my eyes I tend to know in the eyeshadow kits that have names right there.
Jennifer Spindler I an average person ana I like having the shade names 😢also some brands sell individual pans so thats goos so you can identify them 👌🏻
On Pat McGrath web, the matte black and dark brown is supposedly used as base colors and the glittery ones as toppers. They change colors as you put the toppers on top. For example if you put the pink glittery one on top of black, you'll end up with a glittery dark purple shade. I love this palette!
I'd love to see any eye look from you! I love your blending technique. Wish you could do more with the prism palette now that you've had it for a little bit.
Please do the other pallets! This look came out so unique and I'm digging it. Plus you spent the money on the pallets you might as well do tutorials. Maybe a three or four looks video with them and use them all or focus on one pallet but use the others too if that makes sense.
The no bronzer bronzer is definitely supposed to have a little dropper where the highlighter one has an applicator! I'd definitely exchange that for one with the proper cap girl
A lot of the excitement around the Pat shadows is the way the colours change and shift when layered over the black shadow that’s in each pan or any other black base. Makes them look like cosmic glitter dust ❤️! Especially the light duo chromes that don’t look like much!
I would love to see the other shadow palettes in use! Definitely a little disappointed in that green because I was hoping it would be brighter and more vibrant, but you really pulled the look together and rocked it!
yes, I would love to see some looks with the other Pat McGrath palettes, still not sure if I should get one during the VIB sale, or if I should try a ND one instead.
YYYYEEEESSSSSS PLEASE. Would love to see a video with the mothership III cause it’s not even in any Sephora store in 🇨🇦. And also the ND toppers would be the best thing ever
i love that you keep doing makeup looks and not just product reviews! i always feel inspired & in the mood to do some new look after watching your videos.
Yesss I second this! They look so beautiful in the pot but i'm sooo curious to see whether you can tell the colour differences when they are actually on the eyes
Thank you for everything you do. I have acne and face texture that actually looks very similar to yours- and since I had good skin as a teen, I really really get down about it. I love makeup and just started my UA-cam, and seeing you still do amazing, creative looks keeps my spirit up, when I often feel like 'what's the point.' It really means a lot and helps not only my confidence, but helps me continue to work towards my dreams. thank you.
Please do more tutorials with the Pat McGrath palettes! I ordered the third and want to go and get the second one for the gold and green shades. What do you think of the ND palettes though? I originally never considered buying them as they are ridiculously expensive, but after paying the price for the PM ones, I've been considering it as I hear they are beautiful.
I’ve been debating on picking up at least one of the Pat McGrath palettes.. I hope they make them available in store to test and feel. You made really good points regarding the packaging and lack of names on the palette. That’s annoying for something so expensive. Thanks for the video!
😍Love this look, Sam! I got all the Pat McGrath palettes a few months ago. They are so beautiful to look at but they are woefully underused. I’m going to try this look for a cocktail party tonight 😄. Please please please do looks for the other palettes too. Perhaps a daytime look and an evening look? Many many thanks, Sam, and have a great weekend 👍Lots of love from Munich xxx
Yes to the ND toppers and would love to see the No Foundation Foundation in action. I think my aging skin needs to start switching to cream products...😔 You make the blending seem so easy!
Please do looks with the other palettes! 😊 And I am dying to see a tutorial on the look you did in your video where you wore that tye dye Ariana grande sweater. That look was so beautiful, I least want to know what products you used. ☺️
Sam, you know I need to see a video on the other Pat McGrath palettes. Maybe in-depth on all 3? Swatches, thoughts and 2 looks from each?? I know I'm asking a lot from you girl, but you're the best ❤
You should give an updated dedicated review on the new pat mcgrath palette, i watched rawbeautykristy s new video on them and now im really itching for one.

Ditto

i love her too, her foundation reviews are awesome!

Literally dying at this foundation application
Rebecca Mcculloch 0 to 100 😹

Literally dead
@@Taravat76 Thank you so much for that recommendation! So funny
"It has such a caucasian tone to it" I LAUGHED
yes really smelling racist
shakayla renee lmao me too done.
Sam when she opens products that have a strong odor:
“Do you smell it? That smell. A kind of smelly smell. The smelly smell that smells... smelly.”
I love how you're funny and witty but still so intelligent and it's clear that you know what you're talking about. You should do another video while you periscope. I enjoyed that one a lot!

Seriously of all the beauty channels I watch, Sam's wizardry with colours has always really stood out to me. I don't know if that shit can be taught.
I may sound weird but you're gorg :D
Cynthia Isako thank you! 😊🙏🏽😘
Definitely wanna see the other palettes plus the toppers. 💜
I honestly don't really understand why an average person would care if the shade names are on the palette? I get why it would be helpful for someone who does tutorials, but I personally never look at shade names.
Jennifer Spindler Frustrating to do tutorials without!

2) if someone asks what eyeshadow I have on my eyes I tend to know in the eyeshadow kits that have names right there.
I don't care too much about shade names either. But I feel like when someone took the time to name the shades, it should be on the packaging.
Jennifer Spindler I an average person ana I like having the shade names 😢also some brands sell individual pans so thats goos so you can identify them 👌🏻
Well, I find that names are helpful, especially if it’s a palette you can refill, so this makes it easier to find in stores or online.

Samantha Adkins yes!!! Please do a couple looks with the PML palettes. Please.
Samantha Adkins I
The no bronzer bronzer is definitely supposed to have a little dropper where the highlighter one has an applicator! I'd definitely exchange that for one with the proper cap girl
Katy Huff this is important info
Sam! The perricone bronzer is meant to come with a little pipette dropper!
A lot of the excitement around the Pat shadows is the way the colours change and shift when layered over the black shadow that’s in each pan or any other black base. Makes them look like cosmic glitter dust ❤️! Especially the light duo chromes that don’t look like much!

I love when you go into eye looks like 'I have no idea what I'm doing' and yet it always turns out stunning.
I looked like a dried up OC Housewife in Huda’s foundation. That coverage is not playing
lmao your comment is amazing, that coverage is not subtle whatsoever!!
I recommend adding a drop of beauty oil to the foundation to sheer it out
LoL comedic genius
BARE 😂😂😂
I would love to see more looks with the other PMG palettes!! The one you did here was beautiful!
Yes please more tutorials using the Pat McGrath palettes!!👍🏻
Would love to see videos with the other palettes too!
I would love to see an eye look with each of the Pat McGrath Palettes! You could do 1 look with each palette like your 3 looks with subculture/prism.

I love makeup and just started my UA-cam, and seeing you still do amazing, creative looks keeps my spirit up, when I often feel like 'what's the point.' It really means a lot and helps not only my confidence, but helps me continue to work towards my dreams. thank you.

Yesss do the toppers and also id like to see the no foundation foundation in a video, I wanna check out that coverageeeee
I had the same response to NARS Luminous foundation. Like applying legit paint to my skin, but it sheered out nicely with a sponge.
Would love to hear your thoughts on Pat McGrath mothership subliminal and a look, of course
