      Thanks! :) Especially this one was a somewhat large project, because I had almost a full day of time-lapse footage to deal with. Thinking about this I'm still a bit proud :)

    thanks for sharing it!! But i wonder why did you add indicator into the gelatin? I also work with liesegang patterns but I have never done that.

      Try using potassium dichromate (orange) in the gel and diffusing down a solution of potassium permanganate (purple).

      +firmware21 I often thought about a 2 metre long glas tube with a diameter of 10 centimetres. I'd love to see that! :D

      I wanted to use my old 200-250 ml test tube.
      Unfortunately I just broke it yesterday while preparing the experiment and the gelatin fell on the carpet... Just a regular bad day in lab ;(

      When I'm working in the lab and only one thing goes terribly wrong. I immediately begin to clean up or get everything in a safe condition. Then I stop working until the next day, because it usually becomes worse instead of better...
