There is SO MUCH riding we aren’t seeing. This event seems like a blast for the riders but doesn’t care about the fans at all. More coverage means more spectator attention means more advertising dollars. I think it’s great if they are just putting together a get together for rides to all have a good time but with the loss of Audi as a sponsor it’s a wonder they have Swatch paying for a subpar course at all considering I can’t see anything goin on no matter how much I go out of my way to find content on this event.
They didn't help anything. They just threw a bit of pocket money towards the rising sport so that they can put their Nazi logo in front of the cameras.
Swatch Nines has to be one of the best events without a doubt🤟✨ The build each year is as progressive as the riders 🎉🎉 Live broadcast....inbloodydeed ❗❗😎
Such sick riding! I get this format doesn’t really allow for a livestream. But more specific riding videos released from the event would be sick. I love everyone’s Vlogs but these professionally filmed and edited videos hit different. Imagine these videos, Tim Bringer does bmx tricks on a mountain bike. Seeing what tricks are possible on a downhill MTB. The girls push women’s mountain biking. 2 unknown brothers doing double backflip combinations. Matt Jones rides Swatch Nines. These video ideas all could be around 10 minutes with lifestyle footage and riding clips and vlog style footage also. More eyes on the event that way in my opinion. 🤘🏼
Really awesome stuff. I think a 2hr live stream event with commentry would be ace though even if it was specific to full course runs, or fun jump session, or a run on the slopeduro then drive to the top and get on a hardtail. Doesnt need to be a comp to have a livestream is what im trying to say!
@@SwatchNinesit's the pressure element I think people are missing. The lack of competition runs means everyone isn't focused into putting their best runs together one after the other in a two hour livestream window. Any wind or serious injury delays and RedBull livestream chats are full of whinging about when the riding (re)starts. But combined with the added technical pressure of maintaining a livestream, riders would feel pressured into attempting to land that big trick they're working on, when maybe conditions aren't right (which has been another major factor this time round, what with all the rain during the course build and again once the riders arrived) or their head isn't quite in the right space at the time of the livestream window. Magnify this when you consider the women's development of their sport is so far behind the men's and they really wouldn't appreciate the added pressure of a livestream. Glad you're holding firm on doing it this way instead Swatch Nines production team.
@@ManWalksDogs we can see people miss it, but there's so many other events holding on to this traditional contest format, so then we do the exact same as all the other events? What would be special about the event? It's an event for the riders and about progression, without the unwanted 2 run contest pressure. :)
@@SwatchNines it does not need to be a live stream, it was never a event like that, but there was always coverage. like last event when it was in the quarry and obviously run by others. the riders all put out tons of vid of the contest but instead this year most of the riders content is in the trails of the bike park itself, there is so little coverage of anything, it used to have a darkest feel and that is run the same way without a contest. but they cover the event well and the riders put out so much content. i think having it in the bike park just put everyone in the trails. its also a media event, what are all these people paying for ads like redbull and swatch to only have a couple clips on the internet?. you say its about progression but there was so little this year there or at least what we seen and you put out the content so late, the events gone and past, how do you expect people to keep interest in it. you guys should be putting content out while the event takes place like in the past not weeks later. This event was always something i looked forward too and not having it last year and its def not at the same level as the quarry. you can tell from the content releases the riders dont even have good content, i think having it a bike park just encouraged bike park riding rather than trick and trail progression. there were skaters as well and about 30 seconds of coverage on that.
the hates are because they did such little coverage from the event itself, only one vid from a week long event, in the past there would be a lot up by now!!! the events over and only a 8 min vid and hardly any vids from the riders and them who did most are trail riding the park. they def did a great job with the event but there is so little coverage and almost impossible to follow. it used to be Audi Nines now swatch took over last year and cancelled the event and this year its sub par as far as coverage, the event looks awesome, there is so much that is not shown of just the area and new stuff itself. like all the transfers and they had skaters this year and no fun jump session!!! it looks so good but we only got a 8 min vid so....!!!!
Event went on a entire week and only one 8 min vid!!! I used to look forward to Audi Nines Every year but this year its been so hard to follow!!! bring it back to the quarry!!!
@@SwatchNines i seen the 2nd vid mash up. really needs peoples names and its more like a music vid. when it was Audi nines there was so much to follow but even the guys with YT channels are not posting much besides the part itself.
@@SwatchNines you know what you should do it makes so damn coverage instead of childly commenting to everyone that is not happy, we know how to find the coverage!!! put it out!!!
+1 for better camera work, editing and less repetitive music. Don't hire your teenage cousin to do camera work for an event where world class athletes are participating.
Big man Bringer BROUGHT IT! Nice job big fella!
guys we need WAY more live coverage. how is there not a 2h live stream or something?!
has been hard to follow!
So true, I didn’t even know when the event was happening
Their argument is that Post Production is better than live but that simply isn’t the case when trying to attract viewers
