- Lets see how I am doing at the halfway point of 2024 looking back at the Goals I made back in January....
Plus I'm pumped to get started with a new look for my Chain of Command Keg-Sized Narva 1944 Campaign!

Your GDA2 battles inspired me to buy the rules, and gradually make the move from 40+ years of Napoleonic board wargames to tabletop. Funny story, I started with a 6x3 table and 15mm, and now moving to 8x4 with 28mm. Thanks to you :)

Mate we all appreciate the time you spend putting out all of your content it's brilliant. Have to say the effort to spend 5-6 hours doing editing on some of those longer videos must be a bit of a slog but from the point of view of your viewers we just so appreciate the effort and enthusiasm you have. It's infectious. I am really enjoying the more campaign style of narrative coming in to your games and it makes achieving objectives in a game so much more important.
I have watched your videos multiple times as company and motivation while painting.

Great job Steve... When I switched to the Warlords Napoleonic Epic... I enlarge my table to 6x8 and have done the eastern half of the Waterloo battle. I had the entire French 1st Corp and with a re-enforced heavy cav bde. The allies had the entire British 3rd and 5th Divs. and the Dutch 2nd Div with both the Household and Union Cav. Bdes... Had over 7000 figures on the table...The guys I were playing with said it was like looking at a full diorama. We followed the historical script and the battle results came out almost on par with what happen historically.
My next project is doing the Warlords Epic with the Hannibal Battle set doing the Punic Wars...
While I wait for that set to come out at the end of July.... This is frightening, but I've been working on my Battletech... I have 55 mechs painted in different factions and I currently have 24 I'm prepping for paint. I've played a few games of Alpha Strike... Plays faster then the original Battletech. Specially when you play with a large number of Mechs. Keep up the great work with your channel and "Happy Gaming".

Black Powder’s Civil War rules are pretty good. I like them anyway.
In fact, I’m working on Antietam (since 2020 I think), black powder is my choice just for the sheer amount of troops on the table.
I need to buy the supplement! I need to give them a shot!

Did you mean Altar of Freedom by Little Wars? If so it's amazing for 6mm especially for specific battles as generals are ranked differently, Hot Lead is possibly my new favourite for pick up games. 500 miniatures? Get outta here...I can barely get 30 done in a month...lol. Seriously though, that's impressive and good job.
ACW ruled for large battles? LWTV Atar of Freedom is one option, though from what I understand is the mechanics of it isn't solo friendly, but it can be done, that's one game I have, plus Brigade Fire and Fury and Picketts Charge.
