Great that a worthwhile charity is being helped, but... Don’t forget the huge taxes you’re going to be charged for “winning” this house. A majority of people who won the big dream houses on hgtv ended up having to sell due to taxes and other upkeep costs that people don’t think about when they see shiny pretty objects.

I just checked the official rules on the website, and you are correct. It appears you have to physically live within the borders of the state when you purchase the ticket.
