Hi Scotti! Love your tutorials, you make everything look sooo easy! Since I haven’t any purple, which one would you raccomand for shading? Thank you!

if you have rose, you could mix ultramarine with it to make a purple otherwise you could use ultramarine by itself. Another colour is mixing ultramarine with burnt sienna to make a grey or you could use Paynes grey.

The Strathmore visual journal mixed media is far, far superior to the Canson XL, in my experience. Also better is the Aquabee super deluxe sketchbook.
