Ngl it seems like it because they don't really give or talk about any spoilers in it, though there are some new short second clips of scenes from S4V1 most of them showing more scenes of Will third wheeling Mike & El like in the S4 trailer (not gonna go into detail incase you don't want spoilers) and I honestly think because of how much Netflix is displaying that, somethings about to go down lmao.

What I love about Stranger Things is that it has Three different generations of Love Story that almost every age range can relate to and ship- 1. Mike and El 2. Jonathan and Nancy 3. Hopper and Joyce (though that was more of a one sided thing but still) Ps. RIP Hopper, waiting for you to come back in the show.
Yes Riddhi. Therefore I said "more of" before one sided. In the entire series asking someone out on the last episode doesn't change the fact that it was still one sided as Hopper liked her for a really long time. Hope that clears out my perspective.
I honestly don't like it because it feels like she's back being in a "cage" again after finally becoming free to be her own person at the end of season 3 which Hopper even approved in his letter to her. All her life, throughout season 1 to 2, what she wore was forced down to her: Lab gowns, Nancy's hand-me-downs, Hopper's old clothes, Kali's old clothes and makeups. She never got a chance to have her own identity, a choice to express who she is for herself. This is why I liked her shopping scene with Max in season 3; she was finally able to choose for herself how she likes to look. Max even said "Wear what YOU like, not Hopper, not Mike" and El's face lit up. It's a simple thing as clothes, but that was an important moment in El's character development where she realized she is no longer confined by authority and is thus free to make decisions for herself. But now it seems like she's just wearing what Joyce wears and getting the same haircut and makeups as her. Obviously this is just a teaser clip, but I'm bummed that it seems like she's already lost some of the freedom that she worked so hard for.
Unrealistically, unless that is it’s to do with her powers. Her sister seemed to talk like she hadn’t been brought up to only use words that described what they were meant to do. El’s mental age has quicken in season one she had to be around 4-6 and in season two it was really the half mentally but in season three she became 6-11 which is what she has been described by. I’m really happy that she might be able to stick up for herself maybe now.

I find it fascinating that the first thing El does to Mike here is lie to him. It represents that she has grown up so much and come to realize that in the real world, "never lie" is not a realistic vow to live by. As you get older, you learn that sometimes covering/sugarcoating the truth is necessary. As we see here, clearly El doesn't want Mike to worry about her despite being bullied at school. It's also harsh because now she understands Hopper (and his intentions behind the lies he had told her) better than ever.
@@arvincharles yeah, you're right about the editing. However, I just want to point out that these teasers show specific moments that carry a certain significance. The creators and writers chose these moments with a purpose. Sure, we don't see the full picture of El's message from this clip alone, but it still doesn't change the fact that we see her lie to Mike for any reason which was unthinkable prior to this. Clearly she went through a huge growth that changed the way she sees the world.

I honestly don't like it because it feels like she's back being in a "cage" again after finally becoming free to be her own person at the end of season 3 which Hopper even approved in his letter to her. All her life, throughout season 1 to 2, what she wore was forced down to her: Lab gowns, Nancy's hand-me-downs, Hopper's old clothes, Kali's old clothes and makeups. She never got a chance to have her own identity, a choice to express who she is for herself. This is why I liked her shopping scene with Max in season 3; she was finally able to choose for herself how she likes to look. Max even said "Wear what YOU like, not Hopper, not Mike" and El's face lit up. It's a simple thing as clothes, but that was an important moment in El's character development where she realized she is no longer confined by authority and is thus free to make decisions for herself. But now it seems like she's just wearing what Joyce wears and getting the same haircut and makeups as her. Obviously this is just a teaser clip, but I'm bummed that it seems like she's already lost some of the freedom that she worked so hard for.

Unrealistically, unless that is it’s to do with her powers. Her sister seemed to talk like she hadn’t been brought up to only use words that described what they were meant to do.
El’s mental age has quicken in season one she had to be around 4-6 and in season two it was really the half mentally but in season three she became 6-11 which is what she has been described by.
I’m really happy that she might be able to stick up for herself maybe now.

I find it fascinating that the first thing El does to Mike here is lie to him. It represents that she has grown up so much and come to realize that in the real world, "never lie" is not a realistic vow to live by. As you get older, you learn that sometimes covering/sugarcoating the truth is necessary. As we see here, clearly El doesn't want Mike to worry about her despite being bullied at school. It's also harsh because now she understands Hopper (and his intentions behind the lies he had told her) better than ever.
The power of editing...Who knows what she really means in a full context of what her thought was during that actual moment of the show?

@@arvincharles yeah, you're right about the editing. However, I just want to point out that these teasers show specific moments that carry a certain significance. The creators and writers chose these moments with a purpose. Sure, we don't see the full picture of El's message from this clip alone, but it still doesn't change the fact that we see her lie to Mike for any reason which was unthinkable prior to this. Clearly she went through a huge growth that changed the way she sees the world.
