In this video, I’ll be setting up and testing the Geekom A8, a tiny PC featuring the latest AMD Ryzen 9 CPU Despite its small size, it’s incredibly powerful.
I’ll also be trying out some new games and testing its performance, comparing it to a Mac Mini. The size and power of this PC really blew my mind! It took me many days to finish this video, I really hope you enjoyed the video find it useful.

What is your IQ level according to the tests you took at school?
For the curious, a Beelink SER8 is way better (noise/temps), has exactly the same performance (R7 8845hs) and costs $600, barebone (no ram/ssd) for around $400. Way better choice. Geekom is overpriced

For a mini PC, the Geekom A8 is impressive. But I can't wrap my head around its $1,100+ CDN price tag. For reasons of budget, reliability, and expandability, I settled for the Geekom A5 as my daily mini PC.

I think you're wrong about the SSD's speed between the miniPC and Mac mini, the speed doesn't depend on the capacity, the miniPC use NVME M2 SSD Gen4, the Mac Mini has their SSD soldered into the mainboard but they cut off the NAND chip so the speed is slower, just like Macbook, this has been an issue since the M2 chip was released

I'd like to ask you a question. When you play the original body with the Geekom A8, didn't you get a lot of fever or something? And does the original body run smoothly with the basic system specifications of the Geekom A8?
Hi! if you’re asking about overheating, Geekom A8 manages its temperature well during use, but the fans does get a little bit louder while playing games, which is quite common for miniPCs.
As for performance, it runs smoothly at 720p for games on the machine I tested.
And It works well for basic tasks!

Hi I have a question, at 3:53 in your video your computer asked you if you want the game to change anything on ur computer and you said no. I keep getting that question when I download things for example epic games app and I don’t want to agree because I don’t know what I’m allowing it to change if I say yes but then it won’t allow me to use the app at all. I hope you’ll be able to explain it to me because I can’t find any explanations online and idk what to do. Thank you and hope you have a wonderful day! ❤

Thanks for reaching out ! sorry for any confusion in the video. In that particular scene, the “No” button appears highlighted, but I actually clicked “Yes” to continue with the installation. Generally, when you’re installing software that you trust, you’ll need to click “Yes” to allow the necessary changes for the software to install and function properly. If you’re unsure about a program, maybe you can google it or check reviews to ensure it’s safe before proceeding.
